I followed the size chart and ordered according to my size, which is medium, which works. These are a very thick neoprene type sleeve. The hem(?) at the top and bottom are considerably tighter than the actual sleeve which makes me question the supportiveness. The structure is weird, it bunches up in the back when you bend the knee so it tells me there is no compression/no stretch. I will not be using these as I find them not to be supportive nor comfortable.

These support sleeves definitely help to support your knees when squatting, maybe a little too much. The material is thick, not very breathable or moveable. When squatting, the material bunches a lot behind the knees, even when lifting less than 90 degrees. So they are not that comfortable. The quality seems good, so I'm not sure if that is a sizing issue, or if that is how all support sleeves are (This is my first pair). The design is neat.

These X-Large knee support sleeves fit really snug. I’m not a powerlifter at all, I have a home gym but do NOT workout regularly, and I have average size legs… these support sleeves are hard to put on. I need them because I have bad knees and when I do get around to squats I wanna be safe and supported. They work for me but I thought the X-Large would give me some breathing room. These things are tight and do their job really well. The concern is how to tell if these are the right size or not. I took a guess and I think I did good but I didn’t think X-Large would be this tight. Also, I had to rotate the sleeves so that the seam is on the side of the knee and NOT behind it. Once I got them on and oriented correctly they fit and work well, again, just really tight. And they made my legs sweat… they don’t breathe at all.Overall, for me this size worked out. The material is like neoprene. The build quality is good. I think these will last me a long time since I don’t workout that often. I like them enough that I would order them again.

The Katamu Premium Fitness Knee Support Sleeve material is a thick and tough cushion with just a slight amount of stretch. There are no handles or straps for pulling the sleeve up my leg, so I had to grab it on both sides of the top edge. It was a little difficult to pull the sleeve over my calf muscle but was simple to maneuver around my knee once in position. The sleeve gives good support to my knee and provides a nice springing sensation when straightening my leg. I am not a weightlifter, but thought these sleeves would come in handle when moving heavy boxes or furniture. My knees wear out from frequent kneeling down, so the sleeves should help out when gardening as well.My knee circumference measures 17" and I was on the fence on whether to order the XL or XXL size. I decided that tighter was better than loose and went with the XL, which turned out to be perfect. I would have preferred the Batman design available with the XXL, but the red and black Joker looks pretty cool when worn.

These definitely run small. I followed the sizing chart and they are very tight. Not much flexibility to it and are not the most comfortable while lifting. It is made out of a good material that would be supportive only if you're able to get the right size.

Overall I like these, though I am not sure if the sizing guide is completely accurate. I measured and per the guide I was supposed to be an XL. They do fit, but they are tighter than I would have expected. I know it's helpful for these to be tight, but I felt like I couldn't get them pulled up quite enough. Compared to thick neoprene sleeves I have used (that have no cuffs at the ends), these do seem to provide better support. I used neoprene sleeves for lifting but also CrossFit. These are definitely meant for power lifting only since they don't have much give. However, they do provide a ton of support and help my gimpy knee with a bit of rebound at the bottom. Plus the available designs are pretty slick.

been usin it for squats n deadlifts, and it keeps my knee feelin real stable. got that nice snug fit but don’t squeeze too tight, so i can still move good. material feels thick n durable, like it’ll last a long time. helps keep my knee warm too, which is nice when i’m hittin the gym early. only thing is, it takes a lil effort to pull on, but once it’s on, it stays put. no sliding or bunchin up. feels like it gives my knee a lil extra support when i’m liftin heavy.

My first knee sleeves, so take this review in context. I do have some of those neoprene sleeves for if I have knee injury, but I have never used them (never a need). These knee sleeves are far thicker and more compression than the injury neoprene sleeves.I used to lift low-weight high-rep. I did goblet squats with kettle-ball or dumbbell. I went slow, I focused on form, and I never had knee pain. High reps, low weight, low risk. For the past six (6) months, I have changed my lifting regime to high-weight and six (6) to ten (10) reps with a barbell on a rack. Big weight (for me, not scoring compared to you). Still focusing on form, slow, and still no knee pain. However I recognize much higher risk with commensurately higher weights. I ordered these to alleviate some of that risk, not because I had a need. That said, I am between sizes; I am right at the break between medium and large. I could go either way, I went medium as I figure support matters and slightly smaller will offer more support. There is a trick to putting these on. I initially tried like socks, just pull them up. No way I was getting them over my calf (MTB riding so well developed). The key is to fold them in half, and then pull on; still plenty of effort getting them over my calf but once up you unfold and voila. They fit my knees perfectly. They do limit some range of motion at the bottom, but I lift with flat-shoes and find that when my heel lifts I am at the bottom for my range of motion and I can easily reach this. If I do low-weight high-rep I might drop ATG and this does impinge. At high-weight, I get my full range of motion without heel lifting with these sleeves.Overall my goal is to prevent injury; these should work.
