This recipe box is not deep enough for recipe dividers. Not really good for 4 x5 recipe cards. The top won’t close

This box weighs nothing, it’s very light. It’s cheaply made and dividers do not fit in the box. They are dividers for 4 x 6 recipe cards, but as you can see, the box is not deep enough to hold them.This is a bridal shower gift and I couldn’t give it the way it came so I felt I had to embellish it.

The only thing I would recommend is to apply a clear protective coat on this. It is raw unprotected wood
