This was AMAZING for the first two days. Our leopard gecko was using it as a dig box and the little ladder was perfect. That was until it split right down the middle and fell apart, literally, after two days. Yikes. Great idea but poorly executed.

Product arrived broken and the packaging was a bit questionable. You can tell it was re-taped due to the excessive tape used. I didn't feel like repairing/re-enforcing a newly purchased product that should've arrived in peak condition, so I am returning it.

I purchased this after seeing another beardie owner suggest it for a dig box! Willow loves to snooze in there and it is the perfect size for her!

So I didn’t take the measurements, so it was bigger than I expected, but it ended up fitting nicely in the enclosure. I have a winter white hammy, and it was actually a perfect size for him. I was able to add a full 3lb bag of sand to it. It is a little heavy, especially with the sand though. The tree bark food dish was a nice addition, as well as the detachable slope that allows the hammy to access the shelf above the sand.

Very happy with this hamster sand box. I modified it by removing the ramp and placing it on the outside for my bearded dragon. She seems to like it and it looks nice in her enclosure!

Very unhappy that the back where the wood goes together their was chips and holes ! To which the sand would flow out it! Other then that it is more geared for a Dorf hamper size so they can get in and move around ! We filled holes with wood glue !

Sand leaks out due to being poorly put together, its cute but 3/10 for me. Shouldn't have to make upgrades to this

Bought this for my Syrian hamster to use as a sand bath but he uses it for a litter box instead haha. Just a warning: once you put the sand in, it becomes VERY heavy. We put this on top of a small layer of substrate and our hamster managed to dig himself underneath and got stuck! If you buy this, put it on the bottom of the cage with no substrate underneath. Otherwise, good quality wood and nice ladder included.
