My granddaughters 2014 has an error code that could have been one of three sensors. The KAX Variable Valve Timing VVT is so inexpensive it just made sense to replace all the possible culprits. Exact exchange for the OEM part. Working perfect.

New parts. Ohm out exactly the same. Good gasket included. No hardware included. So exactly what you see in the pictures is what you get

I have a 2002 Lexus GS300 sport design, which had some variable valve timing issues very recently. If you've ever encountered such a problem, which is probably why you're checking out this solenoid, you know that the engine will run extremely rough, and in some cases very herky jerky. That of course is not ideal, and is most often fixed by replacing the VVT solenoid. A genuine Lexus part is over $100, so I decided to give this inexpensive aftermarket part a try. Luckily, with my GS300, the solenoid is located at the top front of the engine, and requires only a ratchet set to remove and replace. The job can take you less than two minutes, without exaggerating. I simply dipped the new solenoid into some motor oil that I carry in my trunk as extra in case I need it, pulled the old solenoid one out, and installed this new one. I would also highly recommend that you inspect the filter for the solenoid, which is located just below the solenoid itself, and held in place with a specially designed housing bolt. It's often a good idea to replace both the solenoid, and filter together. I've driven on the new solenoid for a couple of weeks, and the engine is running beautifully. I am someone who would often defer to OEM parts, especially for my Lexus, but there are some instances where the aftermarket parts work extremely well. From my initial experience, I can tell you that that my engine is running beautifully again, and that this solenoid is a great replacement so far. On visual inspection, it looks more or less identical to the OEM part, and so far performs brilliantly.
