These adjustable tie downs work great for anchoring the front and back of my kayak to my vehicle. They much easier to adjust than the ratchet straps I was using previously and they hold firmly without slipping.

I really like this kayak tiedown kit. I have a truck, but our 14 foot tandem kayak is far too long for the bed without good tiedowns. Even though it's a truck, I still use the trunk/hood anchors, but I feed the hooks through my tiedown loops and the round tube holds it in place. My favorite part is the ratchet hooks! They work great, are very fast to use, and stay tight. I'll be using those with the rope for more than just the kayak!

These tie down straps were super easy to use. I used them with my paddle board on the top of my car. They worked very well strapping the paddle board down to my luggage rack. It stayed nice and snug to the top of my car. I like the rubber coated hooks as they give a little protection and keep my luggage rack and the top of my car scratch free. I am very impressed by this set of tie downs.

The handles are a little thin. I’d prefer a heavy duty rubber. These seem like a carbon-fiber. The ratchet is strong as is the rope.

I was surprised when this arrived, it looks better in person than the product images show, I think this is a great value.The rope is sufficiently heavy, its not the clothesline style rope you sometimes get. The hardware has metal to bite into the rope, not just plastic and the coated hooks are heavier duty than I was expecting them to be.One thing I didnt notice originally was the ends that go in your trunk, theyre a solid plastic and they have a very nice carbon fiber effect to them. They feel sturdy in hand and look pretty cool in my opinion. A+ for this kit

Carabiners, hooks, and rope have lots of miscellaneous uses in my workshop and also when I'm transporting heavy stuff. This set has some of everything, and I found the ratchet mechanism to be pretty quick and straightforward. I don't own any canoes or kayaks so can't comment on compatibility with watercraft.

The strap kit arrived and just two days and was in perfect condition. The t-handles with hooks really makes lifting and carrying a large two-man kayak much easier. The ropes pulleys and hooks were great to secure a kayak either on the top of a car or in a truck, as well as securing at home over rafters or connected to eye hooks. It’s a relatively simple set and as a great job at what it is designed for. The rope and straps are of good quality, however, I don’t plan on leaving them out in the sun too long, as our Texas Sun seems to disintegrate just about everything made of cotton or nylon and mere months. If we experience any premature aging or failures, I will certainly update my review for now, considering price, it’s a highly recommend.
