Compass likes to try new foods and as you can see from the second picture, he dove in. We tend to feed him some cockatiel food because we have 5 of them, but I want to make sure he is getting enough food since he only weighs 75 grams. He grazes on this formula for a long time and is interested in the many different components. There is less waste when he is interested in the ingredients. This will be great with the fresh food he eats. Good Job! Maybe now he will complain less when he is in his cage and the cockatiels are out..

I feed my conure a combination of this food and the Kaytee Exact Rainbow Premium Daily Nutrition for Parrots/Conures pellet food (which is also sold on Amazon). My conure absolutely loves this food and chirps excitedly whenever I add it. He immediately goes for the sunflower seeds first. The three pound bag lasts about 3 months. Here are the ingredients, since they aren't posted in the product description:Sunflower, White Millet, Canary Grass Seed, Safflower, Oat Groats, Milo, Wheat, Cracked Corn, Dried Whole Egg, Ground Corn, Ground Wheat, Buckwheat, Corn Gluten Meal, Dehulled Soybean Meal, Whole Peanuts, Dried Red Peppers, Ground Rice, Calcium Carbonate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Wheat Middlings, Salt, Soy Oil, Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Brewers Dried Yeast, Wheat Germ Meal, Vitamin A Supplement, Choline Chloride, L-Lysine, Corn Sugar, Ferrous Sulfate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Manganous Oxide, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Oxide, DL-Methionine, Orange Oil, Artificial Color, Niacin, Riboflavin Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of vitamin K activity), Cholecalciferol (source of vitamin D3), Copper Sulfate, Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid, Calcium Iodate, Biotin, Mixed Tocopherols (a preservative), Rosemary Extract, Citric Acid, Dried Bacillus coagulans Fermentation Product, Dried Bacillus licheniformis Fermentation Product, Dried Bacillus subtilis Fermentation Product, BHT (a preservative), Cobalt Carbonate, Sodium Selenite, Beta-Carotene.My conure is a picky eater and this fortunately is one food he seems to eat most of. The hulls of the seeds leave a little bit of a mess, but it is much better than other foods I have purchased for him.
