I've tried numerous hammocks for my cats over the years trying to save a penny. These are the only ones I buy now. Will hold 16-20 lbs. Has a thick hammock and high quality straps & hooks. They have lasted me up to two years...my cats tend to rub the fuzzy lining off and start to wear through to the canvas-like outer shell so it just depends on how fast that happens (each cat goes through theirs at different rates). These hammocks are very large and can hold 2 cats -about 20lbs combined- at the same time with plenty of room. I love them and so do the kitties!

This hammock is huge! I bought this to replace an old hammock, and I'm not sure why, but I expected it to be about half the size that it is. That being said, I have the space for it so I can't complain. This thing could easily fit two or three big ferrets at once (more like 4 or 5 ferrets if they happen to be the same size as my two little girls). I think even my medium sized cat would fit in it pretty comfortably if he wanted to.

Even though my baby ferret likes to chew the stitching of this bed, a little bitter apple spray cured that habit. It has held up nicely to the abuse coming from his teeth & it’s a really nice size. 9/10 I usually find him sleeping in this compared to his other hanging beds. I bought this to prevent my baby from falling from the highest level of his cage all the way to the bottom. And after using the first one for a couple weeks, I bought another as back up!

Love this hammock and my two little boogers love it too. Both ferrets (full grown male and female) can sprawl out and have plenty of room- even though they still choose to tangle up in a knot lol.Only thing I don't like is how the faux fur of the hammock falls out and balls up and I have to use a hair brush daily to brush and remove it for my babes (or is it my personal OCD?). Other than this minor inconvenience, this is an excellent, good quality product even after a few washes!

I have 4 ferrets and one of them is very big for a ferret. Almost as long as my arm! They all fit in here and love this bed. They wont use any of the other ones I have in there. They have been scracthing at it and no rips or tears. They are taking fluff off but they do that with anything. I will say this is way less fluff than they usally get from other beds. This sleeping is holding its fluff in place!

These hammocks are absolutely fantastic! They withstand 3 adult male fuzzies sleeping on one together. We've never had a problem with the clips or the stitching failing. We have bought 3 over the last 18 months and they are all still in use. We highly recommend this hammock if you are looking for one big enough to hold multiple fuzzies. The hammock our ferrets are on in the picture has been in use for about a year.

Purchased this on Amazon but ended up having to purchase it at a petstore due to the package never getting delivered. My furbutts hammock got destroyed in the dryer, so we decided not to wait for a replacement package. I've never had any delivery issues at this address through Amazon, but I do live on the edge of a bad neighborhood so it is very likely it was stolen. Anyways, onto the product review.The stock image of the hammock shows the ferret taking up a large portion of it, however, this hammock is actually quite large. Check the image i'm posting for size comparison.. keeping in mind Freyja is on the smaller side. When we got the hammock, we also got her a super plush blanket for the bottom of her cage where she usually sleeps. She never really slept in her old hammock, mostly using it to hang out while waiting for me to take her out to play. (She knows if she stares at me long enough, I'll take her out). Freyja LOVES this hammock and is actually sleeping in it now, which kind of makes me sad because I spent $30 bucks on her new blanket but hey, i'm glad she likes it! The quality of the hammock is better than expected & very soft to the touch!If you're on the edge, trying to decide what hammock to get, I highly recommend this one! Hope this review was helpfull!

These hammocks are beloved by cats & kittens. Super comfy for those who are crated for adoption, barn cat relocation, or quarantine/recuperation. Adds space by making use of vertical area that is otherwise unusable, and thereby freeing up more floor space for toys etc..This brand is really the only choice if you need a hammock for a large or heavy cat; I have tried every brand out there. I did have one extra heavy male cat that I had to use a doubled set of hammocks for, after the straps gave out on the single.These hammocks are a great item for shelters that hold their adoptable cats in crates -- when I catch these at a good price I will pick up a bunch for donation.I've used these myself for many fosters over the years and most of the hammocks last pretty well -- unless you have a strap-chewer or cat that likes clawing the fabric. Then they can get destroyed quickly. I do wish the straps and especially the clips were heavier duty, so I took off a star for that. Machine wash/dry.
