Got this device to have more control over my pellet stove convection fan. It has just 3 speeds (low, med, hi) and you can’t control the blower separately from the burn/exhaust fan. The high setting on the stove is often too high, and medium not high enough. I plugged my fan into this unit in series with a magnetic snap disc and now I can run the convection blower higher as needed to have more control over the heat circulating from my stove and also burn fewer pellets than running on high. I usually burn on medium and now I can run the convection fan higher than the stock medium setting. Works great with brushless fans.
