This is a great quality master butter knives. Hammered handles are gorgeos, and they go well with our existing hammered flatware.

These little butter knives in a hammered pattern matched our current hammered pattern silverware perfectly. Really happy to have these to use not just for butter but to put out with hors d'oeuvres. They are solid and well-made. Very happy with them.

The hammered handle and mirror polished blade on these knives exude luxury.Under closer inspection though, there's an unpolished spot right at the bend where the blade turns into the handle. It's probably a side effect of manufacturing, but hey, if you're going to mirror polish something, shouldn't you finish the job?Construction is otherwise great. Thin enough to get the job done at the table while being thick enough to withstand some abuse. I tried bending it, putting on more force than my old silverware could take, and this knife wouldn't budge.I was actually hoping these knives were smaller since I was looking for a little dip spreader knife. I only have one in the house and wanted spares. But, these knives will do just fine and they look nicer too. While they're not absolutely perfect, I'd still recommend them.

You know, it occurred to me a few weeks ago that I only have one butter knife, even though I have a full set of cutlery, and I just wanted that. I found that a little odd, because I was always digging around, re-washing my butter knife. So, lo and behold, when I saw this, I decided, why not? Let's have a set of butter knives around, because, you know, we eat a lot of spreads. Butter knives are more convenient than bread knives, or dinner knives. So, I decided to get it, and, you know what? I'm very happy that I did. These are very nice, high quality, love the design, feel sturdy, and I am certain they will last for years. Not a whole lot else to say, but, like I said, and I will repeat, they're very nice. Quality is there, and as far as it comes to silverware, I am quite particular, so. Even if you can take that with a grain of salt, I am quite pleased with the quality. I would recommend them, absolutely.
