I like butterfly flipping knives so I got this. I know they aren't real knives. but they do flip like they should. I'm not sure why the handles are spread apart, I think it's more of a safety for people practicing that don't know how to get their fingers out of the way. but as someone used to this style of a flipping knife it's kind of annoying that the handles don't close all the way. I wish the company would have left enough metal on the practice blade that I could grind a blade out of it. But if your new to flipping a butterfly knife then this is good way to practice. it's got the weight pretty close and it is made of metal. But I'm going to make it into the real thing. cause you won't get good without the consequences.

It is a nice trainer. High quality and heavy duty but there is a nice surprise in the 440 steel blade; an included bottle opener. There is a real entertainment value in learning flip open when it is useful in opening bottles. The finish is nice and the action is silky smooth. Highly recommended.

This trainer is my second from keedas and it's a well made flipper for begginer through intermediate users. The aluminum handles have some decent grip where it's needed and the neutral feel make most tricks very easy. The reason I didn't give it five was one of the bushing screws was snapped upon arrival which had me question QC. But after replacing it, it's been fine and even suffered a ton of drops on wood and linoleum. They include some extra hardware and a tube of loctite. Be sure not to confuse loctite for oil lol! I'd definitely recommend this trainer over a more expensive one until you have some more experience. Until then it should help you to easily learn the basics of the flipping hobby as well as the much harder tricks.

Came stiff as a board and when I tried to loosen the pivot screws they immediately stripped out. Cheapest hardware ive ever seen.

This is great for practice without having to worry about getting cut. I actually like the handles and bearings in this so much I may find a blade to put in it later.

I have several BenchMade Knives and this happens to be on the same quality level as them. The build on this trainer is seriously solid with no wiggle. The hinges are strong, and the grip on it is sturdy and feels good in your hand. They include extra bearings, tools, oil and a carrying pouch. The aircraft aluminum is light and strong. The bushing system is smooth and consistent. I absolutely cannot believe that they can sell this so inexpensively. Out of all the trainers that I have owned and practiced with I must say that this is absolutely the nicest! I highly recommend it.
