I have over half a tank of fuel in my four wheeler and it show its empty the only good think I can say is I think it's ok for capping off the top of the tank the gauge part is a waist

Well, this was claimed to be the “Better” cap so I got reeled in. As soon as it arrived I noticed the gasket was hanging off the float assembly, so I try to get the gasket to sit back in the VERY shallow groove. After a couple minutes I get it to sort of seat and screw it in the tank. Well, the tank is full and the gauge reads half, so I take the cap off to see what the problem is and there goes the gasket again. I move the float all the way to the top of the float shaft and sure enough the gauge reads between 1/2 and 3/4. Now I know why the plastic bag it came in was ripped open, I guess they just keep sending them out to the next sucker. This thing is JUNK!Update: well today after about 4 weeks of light use I finally added the last pic before I threw it in the garbage. The indicator needle just fell off. This might be the biggest piece of crap I’ve ever bought from Amazon, seller offered a refund but of course it never happened

It claims that this is compatible with a 2004 Polaris trail Boss 330 and it couldn't be anymore far from wrong. The gasket on the gas cap constantly falls off and will not stay on no matter what you do and the float is not long enough to reach down towards the bottom of the gas tank. So when your gas is halfway it reads it's empty by far not the correct length and sadly my return window has closed and now I'm stuck with a useless gas cap

Shorter than my stock 2003 trail boss 330 and also the gasket underneath the cap already torn and fell out with one use. The lens cap on my stock was broken so tried this one out. I can make another gasket but annoyed it’s pretty cheap looking and feeling.
