They were a MF to get on as my son and I nearly broke the rim tools we have. And they are steel. IT took a bit but we did it and they fit a bit to tight on his rim requiring we manually position the location on the rim so he is not hopping up and down as he rides. We lubed it too so don't come at me with the comments.
