This was for a 21 Riadglide. First off, I was looking for better sound and more volume without breaking my wallet and keeping my stock radio with the GPS and other functions. Well, this definitely fits the bill! This system is fairly easy to install and no need for the dealer to flash the stereo. Amp fits in a tight spot under the radio head and you need to wiggle the speakers in place due to their size. I was impressed with how much volume this added and the quality of sound from the speakers. These actually added some base to my sound. Now, don't buy this if you were expecting a sound system that is equal to 4-6 speakers and $2,000. This is basically for people who are disappointed with the HD stock system and want to actually hear music on the highway. The most difficult part of the installation was running the power wiring harness on the amp. I didn't run it under the tank but, through the fairing and than under the center console on my tank. I would say it took me 2-3 hours from beginning to end, taking my time

I installed this on my 2019 Streetglide in about 2 hours. Major improvement from stock H-D speakers on the Boom GTS system. Wow! Highly recommend! Clean, crisp and powerful sound!

Major improvement, HD should be embarrassed of the speaker they put in, in comparison to this unit. Easy install. Tight fit but will go. Factory connections for ground to speaker are to small for new ones. Just cut off and put ones you need on.

For the price, this is a great solution for those that are just seeking to be able to hear their music clearly at highway speeds (60-80mph). The stock Boom GTS speakers on my 2019 Road Glide Special had decent dynamic range but of course, as many Harley riders know, they lack power to override wind noise at faster speeds. While I haven't messed with my equalizer in the head unit since the install to measure the dynamic range, I'm happy to finally be able to hear my music while going fast. In comparison with the stock unit, where the volume would get maxed out on it (in terms of level of volume), the new speakers and amp are set to about 60% volume level. The only gripe I can state is the instructions in both the manual and on Youtube are skewed towards Street/Electra Glides. The strongest point of contention would be feeding the power harness through the fairing to the battery. While you can either feed the wires underneath the tank or underneath the center tank console (what I did), the Kenwood Youtube install vid just shows the installer feeding up the wires from underneath the fairing with no indication of exactly where it was fed through. I found on the clutch side of the fairing stay (coming off the steering yoke) there is a crevice in the plastic that is just large enough to allow you to feed the amp end of the harness (with its inline fuse too) through, and it worked surprisingly well. Hope this helps.

The size of the magnet and weight of these Kenwoods over the OEM Harley speakers is unreal. The amp is nice. Very economic kit to get a better sound / volume from factory radio without a flash. Installation very easy for any DIY person. 4 Stars - because the amp does develop some static to some radio stations that otherwise didn't exist before. Should clarify that noise-filters might be required.
