I was expecting a little heavier, sturdier feel, like our larger Suncast brand deck box. This just feels cheap. Even though theoretically it should be easy to assemble, it’s awkward to do so because the plastic is thin so when you try to push the panels together, inevitably one bends, and with some of the holes having excess plastic (like too much was in the mold, so like a thin layer of “overflow” if you will) they just don’t pop together nicely. The first one I ordered arrived with cracks in the front panel, so I initiated a return of that one and reordered another. That one arrived with a broken hinge, so we can’t use a lock on it and it doesn’t shut as firmly as it should. Sigh. It’ll do for my needs for awhile but I can’t imagine that it’ll last for more than a couple of years.

This is a terrific little box. Assembled in a couple of minutes. At first I thought they’d sent me one with the lid on the bottom… it took me a while but I got it in the end! Lives outdoors , while my outdoor shoes and a carrier bag reside within. So far, it’s been waterproof and considering the down pour we’ve had over the last week, that’s saying something.

Die Box ist genau was ich gesucht habe für meinen eher kleinen Balkon, um Blumenerde, Pflanzutensilien, Blumentöpfe etc. zu verstauen. Sie schaut gut aus, ist wasserdicht und sehr stabil. Wie sie den ersten Winter draußen übersteht wird sich noch zeigen.Was super praktisch ist, dass durchsichtige 'Samla' IKEA Plastikboxen in verschiedenen Größen passgenau reinpassen. So kann man toll Ordnung halten. :)
