Easy to program but I didn’t use the instructions. I did the 30 min key program on YouTube . You turn the new key to the on position for 10 min 30 sec 3 times . You can find the video it works on all GM cars then my key was programmed ! The security light came on at first then I put my old key in and it came off!

Got this for a 2013 Buick Verano. The old fob broke and the key blade came out. I removed the uncut blade from new fob and placed in the original blade in the holder. Removing the pin to hold the blade in place took a little effort but not particularly difficult. Then I followed the instructions on how to program the new fob. That took all of 10 seconds. Now I have a fully functional fob that saved me a lot of money versus buying a replacement from another vendor.

A pain to swap the blade, but the FOB paired flawlessly, Button alignment is a touch off, but once I figured it out it works better then the fob without buttons. Been using it for a month now so I'll sign off on it.

I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze fob that the buttons went kaput on. Anywhere else wanted to charge me $100 for a cut, programmed fob. Bought this replacement, feels the same as my old one, no logo. Went to Ace, cut the key for $3. Took 5 seconds to reprogram fob myself; so easy! In total, a $100 key only cost me $17. What a saving; it really does work!!!

Amazon said this was 100% compatible with my car make and model. That wasn't fully true. It was only 50% compatible. My old remote case was so worn that the buttons fell out, but its electronics card still worked. I wanted to put my old medal key and old circuit card into this case to avoid having to pay for cutting a sidewinder key and reprogramming. The circuit card fit, but the way the switchblade-style metal key aligns with the case, my old medal key wouldn't align. I ended up having to pay a locksmith to cut the blank on the new key. Getting the keys cut cost more than the replacement cases. Still cheaper than getting a key from the dealer.

Very difficult for locksmith to program remote as well as quite expensive. Despite all efforts at repeated programming, the remote failed to be "discovered" by the vehicle nor would it start the vehicle due to poor quality after market electronics. Stay with your dealer!
