Cable Connection: Blue & White cable should be connected to Null wire; Black cable should be connected to Live wire; Ground Cable should be grounded inside the controller box.
Center Intake & Discharge: The pump discharge is at 12:00 position and the intake is in center.
Two sets of 1.5 inches unions are included. But the unions from different factories might be a little different, so please use our unions for better seal.
This pump can replace the ones from those popular pump suppliers and please verify Amp draw, Voltage and the size of intake & discharge.
Maximum Operation Pressure: 0.3Mpa; Maximum Flow rate up to 71 GPM.

My old pump started to leak and before I knew it … it failed. I found this pump which was much cheaper than those found at the hot tub shops and had my guy replace it. It took him less than 20 minutes for the whole job and I was back in business. Actually, since this hot tub has a little more horsepower than my old one, it seemed to heat up a bit faster. Since it’s still a 110v plug and play, it takes about a day to get up to 104 deg but it has been holding steady. I’m very pleased and if I get a few years out of this I’ll be satisfied.

First pump I ordered on here from another seller (was cheaper) never even showed up. Ordered this one the second time. Came quickly and real easy to install. Installed on a lifesmart LS100 series 200 gal hot tub. Correct wiring diagram even though it didn’t come with a new ground ring to crimp onto ground wire inside box. No biggie they are under $1. (do yourself a favor and use 2 wire nuts and electrical tape them once they are twisted on. The crimp caps that come with it are sufficient but if you ever have to service it later in you’ll end up having to cut the wires.) as well as perfect match to existing pipes. Lined up with existing bolts that were there for oem pump. Stronger than oem pump as it was only 1hp. This one is 1.5 and pretty dang quiet. Only took about 12 hours to heat water from 67 degrees to 90 degrees. Keep in mind half that time it was in the sun and was around 90 degrees outside.

Install was easy, worked out great at first after a few months of use. The motor bearing now squeals at a horrible high pitch. It’s too loud to run. I’ll have to replace it again. Very displeased.

this motor dose fit Watkins lifesmart plug and play hot tubs with the oem# stated. It also comes with the unions and mine cracked with just hand tightening due to being brittle due to age, so the replacement unions were awsome. Heats the tub perfectly with friction as designed, and is quieter than the original motor. Watkins manufactuer said it would be $450 for the correct motor and Amazons choice (this motor at almost 1/3 the cost) would not work. Further that it was not worth repairing, and we should buy a new one at Cosco. Our tub is cristal clear and running perfect

Changed out the four-year-old leaking pump for my Lifesmart Spa. This pump arrived quickly and I had it installed which took less than an hour. I would have installed it myself, but the wiring instructions were not super straightforward so I had the spa guy install it and kept the old pump for reference. Instructions were not super clear. But, I'm super happy with the pump as it is 1/3 the cost of the original manufacturer and it's working great, just in time for winter!
