I ordered this keyboard tray for my home office. Space is a premium and I needed away to tuck my keyboard under the desk when it wasn’t being used. When this arrived, it came in a box that was smaller than I thought it would be. It had weight to it, but the parts were clearly broken down more than it seemed like they should. So when I realized the keyboard tray itself was in two parts and had to be assembled, I expected the whole thing would be flimsy and weak. My assumptions were wrong. It assembles easily. Once everything is together, the tray and the slides are all very solid and work smoothly. It mounted up to my desk using the integrated clamps and it holds tightly. I haven’t had to adjust it or tighten it at all since installing. I did have problems with my keyboard, slipping on the tray since the laminate finish is quite slick. So I cut an old mouse pad to fit. Now the keyboard and mouse live on the same tray and don’t slip off. This is a good little piece of equipment. It’s a great value and high-quality. I will highly recommend it.

Does this come in 2 pieces? Yes. Is it overly complicated to assemble? Not at all! Is it sturdy? Yes!So I put this together within about 15-30 minutes. Yes. That does seem like a bit of time and there are a few pieces and steps but it's really easy to assemble. Once you do assemble it and attach it to your desk, which takes a minute, it's very well made, looks nice and is very sturdy.I initially used it as a slide out tray for my main keyboard instead of using the keyboard on my laptop but since I occasionally do you use my laptop keyboard I realized I could also store a slender compact travel printer under there as well, so it's become more of where my slide out printer tray than my keyboard tray BUT I can still fit both the printer and the keyboard on the tray and they conveniently sit hidden under my desk until i'm ready to slide the tray out and use either of them. So, would I recommend this slide out keyboard tray? (or whatever you want to use it for tray.) Absolutely!

I had an under the table mounted drawer for my keyboard. It was the type that kind of swings outwards but I found that whenever I'm typing it would slowly drop and I was very difficult to secure in place and stay stable. I wanted something a little more simple and I opted for this one.Well it lacks the future of a swing out it does a good job holding its place and is fairly stable even with the weight of my arms on it.It has a bracket that does have a little lip on the top of the table which I was on a huge fan of at first, but I'm used to it now. I suppose it's better than screwing it into the bottom of the table top.I feel that it's a slightly awkward size, in that with the keyboard you have very little movement area for the mouse. With that said overall I'm pretty satisfied with this.

I bought the keyboard tray because the ad said it would fit my desk with the 24" wide kneehole space. True enough it fit. There just wasn't room to turn the flanges to tighten the clamps! I'll be returning it.

I have a dual computer setup on an L-desk, and I needed a second keyboard tray to store the keyboard for my 2nd computer. This mostly fulfills my needs. The tray is shipped in multiple pieces (presumably to make it easier to ship). This makes assembly a little harder than you might think as you need to position both parts of the "shelf" and their various supporting materials "just right" and then tighten everything down.Despite my best efforts, there's a fraction of an inch difference in alignment between the two halves of the shelf that's driving me nuts.I really wish they would have just made the shelf a single piece. The C-clamps that hold the shelf to the desk are nice and sturdy, but they're also quite visible from the top of the desk. I'd had a desk mat on my desk, but I had to remove it because the clamps got in the way.Despite these issues, the tray itself seems sturdy, and it seems to be working well for my needs.

Alright, so I have a rule when purchasing on Amazon: Don't buy from any company that looks like they named it by smashing their hands on the keyboard resulting in "Dandsjas", or as this company is, "Dqcgly".I forgot to look at the company name and bought this and lo and behold: the tray comes in two pieces with things to support it as one, but the right panel is deeper than the left so there's an obvious edge that comes out at the FRONT where it shouldn't. And because it's the front it's hard to avoid.Still, the board is quite sturdy, and the mechanism in which it holds onto the desk works.Sliding mechanism: 6/10. Will probably have to oil it soon.As another reviewer mentioned there is a straight tilt to it that dips back; the board is deep enough that it would need more support at the back not to dip. My keyboard comes with built-in stands so I can easily compensate for that, and I keep my mouse closer anyway so I don't actually notice it much.I was torn between sending it back because of the money it cost vs keeping it because it is technically functional and I can get over the quirks. I decided the latter. Carbon footprint and all of that. This product is clearly a rip off of something else that likely has much better quality standards.
