Is it expensive? Maybe for a lot of people, but this is so worth it. The build quality, the sound of the keys, matches my K2 perfectly.

The Key pad is sturdy, easily programmed and seems to have a good battery life. Nice to be able to change the switches, too quiet for me.

Extremely well constructed. Only downside could be if you plan to sit this on your lap or something, it is heavy. A lot heavier than you'd expect, due to solid metal construction and a decent size battery.Keycaps are good, as are the switches (I got the Gateron Juipter Bananas). Pick whichever switch sounds good, and then swap them out if you want. That's the main feature I was looking for. I'm using it as my left hand controller for gaming so I want to customize the feel, and the extra keys are a nice bonus. It has a couple more keys than the Razer Tartarus I'm using now. And a knob, if you're into that.Another reviewer calling the web based configuration utility "shady" is an example of someone that didn't do any research. You can use QMK and/or VIA to program the keys, both of which are the opposite of shady. That's a major selling point for me, I won't buy a keyboard any more unless it supports VIA. Those are open source utilities that are far better than the bloatware you have to install for the mainstream brand keyboards. That's another reason I'm switching, to get rid of the last Razer device I'm still using and uninstall their horrible app. There are cheaper alternatives, but not with as many keys (that I know of). And of the ones I've tried none even come close to the build quality. I'm now using a Keychron Q5 Pro keyboard, with the Q0 Max sitting next to it. Total cost was similar to a lot of "gaming" keyboards on the market and the quality and feature set are MUCH better.

This feels like a component I would have bought in 1990, when PC users had to know how to allocate hardware interrupts by hand, and expected to have to flip DIP switches in the process. It is heavy and sturdy, which is nice, but also flaky, which is bad.It absolutely does NOT work out of the box on my Mac, and it's up to me as the user to spend all day on the phone figuring out how to make it work. There is no service chat or phone number, either -- just send them an email and maybe you'll get a response one day.For a $130 keypad with 21 keys? No thanks! You keep it. The whole idea was to SAVE effort, not to acquire another cranky custom peripheral that I have learn to configure and maintain.I am waiting on an email response from Keychron customer service, but if I don't get a good, straightforward answer that makes this work within a reasonable period, this is going back to Amazon. Also, as others have pointed out, it requires some questionable security practices to make it possible to configure the mouse via the browser -- a stupid design.I would NOT recommend this product.

The build quality of the Q0 is probably the best I have ever experience from a numpad. It is immensely hefty with clean lines and excellent fitment. The Jupiter Red switches are incredibly smooth and have a pleasant sound. The keycaps are fine, maybe a bit boring, but the legends are printed cleanly, and the font is easy on the eyes. I've been looking for a numpad with extra customizable keys for a while and the Q0 has just the right amount to be usable without being large and cumbersome. The perfect complement to a 65% or 75% layout. Using QMK is super easy as the web based, open-source app only needs browser access and not some third-party proprietary software with servers in another country. All in all, just a fantastic numpad. My only gripe is the price. I have several aluminum 65%, 75% and TKL QMK keyboards that are cheaper than the Q0. If the price doesn't bother you, this is a top notch numpad.

Keychron Q0 Max White Gateron Jupiter BananaWhat a wonderful numpad. I'm not really sure what else to say? Its hefty, feels amazing to use, and both bluetooth and 2.4 work flawlessly. If you frequently use a Numpad, treat yourself, this is possibly the nicest standalone numpad that money can buy atm.Keychrons Launcher software/website is great. Its easy to use and well laid out. Don't listen to the people saying that using launcher or VIA is unsafe. Those people don't know what they're talking about.QMK/VIA is pretty commonly used for altering key assignments/keyboard layouts. The alternative is to rewrite and flash new code onto the controller... Launcher/QMK/VIA helps you skip that step and alter key assignments using a GUI which is much easier and straightforward for the average person. Its a website... that connects to your keyboard.... nothing else. no permissions need to be granted, just have your keyboard plugged in and "click" connect, then choose the keyboard that you'd like to customize. super easylove this thing and can't say enough good things. I'm primarily using it as a standalone gamepad for my left hand when not using it for tasks like data entry. While the foot print is small which makes it nice for moving around and getting into a comfortable position, this thing is Heavy. Suprisingly heavy. It's amazing for stability and feel but for some that weight could be a drawback. The main reason I chose to get this Numpad is because of the row of 5 macro keys. I believe that this is the only 5x5 numpad that's widely available online. I could be wrong but I couldn't find a suitable alternative to the Q0 Max wireless, it is truly a unique product.I also enjoy the customer KSA keycaps. Keychron did a great job with the feel of the keycaps. Main complaint here is that the m5 key also has a side printed "Fn" marking and the "F" and "n" and not printed level to each other. The bottom of the "n" sits a half mm too high up and was immediately noticeable to me. I have some other annoyances with the legends and the keycaps but they're insignificant and probably won't be noticed by most people. for example, The base stroke on the "1" is not a uniform thickness to the rest of the numbers on the keypad, its thin whereas the numbers "6" and "9" look almost like they've been printed in bold when compared to the others. insignificant but annoying for those of us that are observantI really like the Q0 Max, it's very nice and brings me joy when I use it.
