This is the perfect attachment for a plow to help with the sharp angle of your winch cable/rope. You can adjust this to the desired angle. The standard connection point on a plow is almost directly below where the winch cable/rope is located. This puts a lot of undo pressure on the cable/rope. It is recommended to lessen that angle, and this attachment does the job. It works great! Also, it is very easy to install; I recommend this without any reservation.

This part is very well built it is one of the easiest installs i have done to upgrade my kfi 72inch plow for my side by side and used 2 wrenches that's all you need comes pre drilled holes for mounting just take 4 existing bolts out and use 4 of the bolts that come with it just a little longer bolts use the 4 nuts that you took off for the new mounting bolts then you install 2 more bolts for the second piece and adjust it for your plow so easy to do and this lever lift will eliminate stress on your winch and will be a straight pull for winch before mine was straight down and if I plowed alot I would be fixing my cable at least 3 times a day but this eliminates that this is a good investment took me 10 minutes to install

Disclaimer: I am a huge fan of these KFI plows; thought it was a bit pricey when I bought mine but it was the only one that fit my side-by-side.The KFI plow is heavy, I thought MUD Utility made a nice plow but these are even better. I compared my KFI to my neighbor’s, MUD Utility and realize just how much better built it is.The challenge is the stock lift point means the winch cable is vertical and it kills flare-heads. This kit improves winch leverage and lets it pull straight vs straight down.For the added price this should be a KFI standard feature. The plows are not cheap and i would have paid the extra upfront for this option kit.If you have a KFI plow and you’re tired of shredding winch cables buy this kit!

This extension is perfect for a winch mounted to my Honda Pioneer 1000. I used a pulley block to make it easier on the winch to lift the plow-- works great. The additional height makes it where the cable does not rub on the roller fairlead as much as it would if it wasn't there.
