We’ve six of the Kichler two blade fans which are great. One remote failed after ten years. I was happy to find a replacement since the fans require a remote.

This is the second fan that I had to get one of these for. If you are installing the 6 speed remote in the Kichler fan, they do not always or perhaps never include this remote. Buy this remote for your fan if it is a 6 speed. The other cheaper ones did not work at all for my 6 speed fan.This is your remote if you installed a 6 speed Kichler ceiling fan. It works great and is a nice remote.

THis unit connects to the wall switch that comes with the ceiling fan and needs that to connect. The wall switch doesn't do well with a three way switch install but can stay powered all the time and just use the remote to set the fan speed from off to 6 and the light from dim to bright. i added two of these remotes to my system and it works perfectly.

I bough a new white, Kichler ceiling fan to replace a cherry wood Kichler ceiling fan, that still worked perfectly and had a remote. So I bought this fan remote, for our new Kichler ceiling fan, and it is perfect and works and operates the ceiling fan and ceiling fan light, just like our old one. I had always bought a different brand that I had always liked just fine, but Kichler ceiling fans are the best!! Thank you.

The instructions were straightforward and easy to install handheld remote. Got this from refurb dealer that was actually as good as new for half the price of a new one.

We’ve had several people try to get this to connect to our fan and it won’t connect. We are having an electrician come out and see if it’s the fan itself. If it’s the fan I’ll update my review.

Put the batteries in and tried it out. Did not have to pair it. It worked right out of the box!! Even came with a wall mount holder that can be mounted on a single gang box.
