I got the 10 inch model. Sounds great for base in a single cab truck. I only used a cheap amp off of amazon and it ran this sucker just fine. Build is solid and very stout.

Speaker was likely being over powered due to installer mistake. Vendor was extremely patient with me and easy to work with. Product was out of warranty and vendor still replaced. Amazing customer service. I was very stressed because I couldn’t afford another speaker. Thank you very much. One of the best vendors I have ever worked with.

I went from a 12" sub to this so I expected a decrease in sound quality... not like this though. Can't hit low level bass at all so any electronic music is lost but country and rock sounds great and this unit provides just enough bass. Unit is already rattling after one week of use trying to get more out of it. Overall good on space but won't blow your hair back, would buy the 12" option with hindsight.

It took a bit to get my amp settings right but they kick pretty well. I bought these to replace my 12" subs because they took up entirely too much cargo space. I think it was a good choice. These don't take up much room at all, I don't have to worry about people trying to break in and steal them because they blend in, and they kick enough to rattle my rearview mirror. I thought about replacing the speakers to get something tighter from kicker, but even if I don't I'm still satisfied with them.

I'm driving this with a Taramps 400 bass. Super great sound in a small package... It's under that hippy blanket in the back of the Bronco. I stopped driving my TLX now that this system is in the Bronco... Love it. Huh, what did you say? For some reason I can only hear ringing these days.

Edit: Somehow I overlooked the low end frequency spec on this which says it's tuned for 42hz low end. I could've swore I read it was 25hz. Will be adjusting my HPF immediately. Luckily I don't run it hard.Powered by 500W @ 2ohmHPF @ 25hz 24dB LR filter, LPF @ 80hz 24dB LR filter (and my midbass is crossed at 100hz for HPF)Not a single review complaining about the sub talks about specifics. Just "I'm mad sub not good".If you're running just a single L/R channel to the sub instead of a summed output, it won't sound as good. If you've got a phase issue with your channels then it won't sound as good. If you have a phase issue between your sub and the rest of your speakers it won't sound as good. I know this because I did have a phase issue and once I resolved it the sub went from nice to making you FEEL the kick through the back of the seat. None of these problems are unique to THIS sub though.

I've had this sub for a couple months now. I paired this sub with the Skar Audio SK-M5001D mono amp, which pumps out 380 watts at 2 ohms. It's in the trunk of my Toyota Camry taking up very little space, and the sound is immaculate. The bass is loud, and I can only describe it as tight and punchy. It's no slouch, even in the long tones. It rumbles and vibrates the toolbox and trunk of my car. One of my best purchases of all time.

I wanted something small for my 2015 mustang gt trunk, the fact its a down firing subwoofer box allows for space to be utilized perfectly. i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the bass and wanting to do so with space restrictions.

This thing doesn’t go as low as my CompR 10 in a ported enclosure but it kicks like a mule. Very tight and precise. As with all kicker subwoofers that I’ve owned you have to let it break in for a couple weeks before it reaches its full potential. I love that it opened up the cargo area in my car. With 50 watts going to each of my door speakers and 300 going to this enclosure my car is plenty loud. I’m powering it with a Kicker Key 500.1. At 2 ohm I have the gain set to 24 volts. I kind of wish the amplifier did the full 400 at 2 ohm but 300 is definitely good enough.
