Well made kit, durable and all pieces were included. My husband has built many kits and even an airplane. Even though instructions say it takes two people 4-5 hours to complete I would give yourself at least a full day or more to construct it properly. As others have stated, it would be best to add a foundation of some type to place the house on. We made a wood foundation, drilled holes on it for drainage and placed spongy, interlocking tiles on top of the foundation. This was a Birthday gift for our 6 yr. Old granddaughter. The house turned out much better than expected and our granddaughter loves it!!!

Ridiculous, I didn't know there was no hardware at all in the box until I had a guy on the clock trying to build the thing. It was a surprise for my daughter's birthday and I let her see it and get excited, so now she's upset. Also, there are huge pieces of wood all over my yard where my kids play and it's freaking dangerous. But of course, we found exactly none of this out until minutes after the manufacturer's office hours ended for the week, and there's no customer service available whatsoever on the weekend, and Amazon couldn't do anything but a return. So I'm like, super unhappy =

I love it! It honestly wasn’t that hard to assemble, it did require 2 people for some of the assembly but I did most of it on my own and I’m 5’2 105 lbs.. I downloaded the BILT app and it showed me step by step video instructions with item references, and an interactive picture so I could see more clearly. It’s a sturdy playhouse and quite spacious inside. (I can stand up all the way inside of the playhouse) it was a birthday present for my 5 year old daughter and she loves playing inside! The hardest part was painting everything the color I wanted. Took 2 coats of paint and 2 coats of stain… I painted the whole thing before it was assembled. Also, I added those lights on the dormers, they weren’t included but you can find them on Amazon.

Got this for grandkids and assembled myself with a little help with roof. I chose a flat concrete patio to assemble. Will move into yard later. I think that was a good decision. This little house is so well thought-out. It’s so sturdy I kinda think it might survive a hurricane. Not kidding. Two grandkids, boy & girl both 4 y.o. absolutely LOVE this thing. I had to built a good bit of it with them in it. Very safely of course. Looks like real redwood roof shingles. Wood is good quality and pre-drilled where needed. Instructions are great. It’s hard to do perfect instructions but this one is close, and written by a native English-speaker. Read through it first, then take baby steps. It will take shape quickly. I give it at least 10 years. It might last longer than that. Very good choice!

When we received the product it was in a ripped box but all the pieces were there and no damage was noticed. When you open the box the house walls are pre assembled and held to get her with rather flimsy plastic clips. Be very careful when opening the walls and remove it them from the box. I broke 2 plastic clips on one wall and it caused some problems during assembly. Fortunately there were a few extra screws at the end and I was able to add some strength by using the screws.****Do yourself a favor and have some toothpicks handy!!! The wood is very soft and the screws will easily strip if you are not careful, and especially if you are using an electric drill or driver. Several of the screws in the pre-assembled panels were stripped. I removed these screws and inserted a toothpick in the screw hole and re-inserted the screw to get the screw to hold.The screws that came in our set were square drive and the company included one square drive bit. Have another one handy for a helper.The assembly of this play house definitely requires 2 people. The instructions estimated 3-5 hours for assembly. I’d set aside 5 hours for assembly.You must read the directions completely. The parts were all conveniently marked with the part numbers but it is easy to use the wrong sized screws or install a part backwards if you are not careful. Pay careful attention to the pictures too.

I ordered this for my Grandbabies for Christmas but asked my Son in law and daughter to put it together now because I felt it would be really hard trying to set something like this up on Christmas Eve. I'm glad they agreed as it took a couple of days and at least two people to finish it. Although it was a little difficult getting it set up I must say this is really a sturdy product and I feel like it was worth what I paid. Much bigger than the way it looks in the photo. I love all of the little extras like a working door bell. The stove looks like it is lighting up when you turn the knob. It's just adorable and my Granddaughter loves it. We are going to buy some wooden pallets to make the floor. Very heavy duty and sturdy and is big enough to invite mommy and daddy in for a visit and I may buy a set of children's chairs or maybe a small table to go inside. Very happy with this one but you will need at least two people to get it set up as it takes several hours but you won't be disappointed once it's put together. They sell even bigger play house's but this size was perfect for my grandchildren's ages which are still very young.

Awesome playhouse! The quality of construction and materials is fantastic.Pros:kids love it. it really is a beautiful little house. Sturdy and went together perfectly. having the parts and screws clearly labeled prevents any confusion - never wondered if I was using the wrong piece or the wrong screw.Cons:there are roughly 240 million screws. Be prepared. I don't know how many it really has, but it is a lot. There are a few spots where the instructions take a second to make sense, but once they do it seems like it should have been obvious. Can be assembled by one person but 2 made it a lot easier.I will say also that it is expensive in comparison to a lot of others out there... but I think worth every penny.Overall a wonderful playhouse that I'm sure will outlast my kids desire to play in it.
