Update: worked perfectly for swimming BUT if you’re going somewhere with sand beware. I almost could not get this off my kid as sand went into the buckles and made them jammed up. I’ve used many vests and floatation devices with clips and I have NEVER had that issue before. First off I was so excited to find a vest like this labeled to fit larger children. It fits perfectly on my 7 year old. I will say the zipper is pretty tight on him, there is a bit of slack left in the buckles. He is a little twig too so I don’t think that this would fit children up to 9. I will be lucky if it still fits him next year. Wish more large life vests had the strap between the legs like this one!

Order this for my grandson fits perfectly with room to grow over the summer. Make sure you get the right weight and size it's important and use the size guide. Only bone I have to pick is the color choices they are terrible why so many blue colors most pools and lakes around are blue or green and all the colors are blue and green it took me forever to find one that didn't only have blue or green for boys there should be better choices out there like neon green or neon purple helps to spot them better, as an ex life guard it's hard to spot kids in blue or green swim trunks in the water especially in a lake. This bright orange color saved my life when I fell in near a dam after my 5 year old self casted herself right out the boat my uncle scooped me out the turning water with a fishing net he only see me because the bright orange life jacket with the 1 between the leg strap. So please give us more safer color choices because I plan on these kids staying alive and buying more as they grow I like options that are safe.

Winner!We’ve had several swim floaties over the years.Of course I bought this and now he only needs it to survive as he had learned to swim… not a waste of money as having a life jacket is always important.Wait, did this jacket help my kid learn to swim? ;)Not a paid sponsorship, ha.But yes! This doesn’t chafe or ride up or irritate in any way. Not my kiddo anyway. Which if you spend a lot of time (any time) around water is kind of a big deal.I wish I had found this when he was younger.Highly recommend.

This vest fits my 5YO with room to grow. Bright orange is visible and keeps them floating.WARNING - the tow strap is poorly stitched. I am giving this a 3-star because the tow strap (which is used if your kid is ever in trouble to pull them) ripped immediately after tugging at one of the stitches.

This life jacket was the best item I could’ve ever purchased. The fit is perfect because the straps are adjustable. There are a lot of arm floatie type of vests out there but my son doesn’t like bulky things squeezing his arms. My 2 year old got too close to the edge of the pool, fell in, was understandably shocked, scared and upset but this life jacket floated him right up to the top. It’s a life saver. 5 stars.
