I got this for my 7 year old and he loves it. I definatly prefer this sty as aposed to the on that sits on the floor and has water in the bottom to keep it upright. i was a bit worried with the water in it but i figured if its in the basement and it leaks or breaks it wont be the end of the world. But so far its held up great and doesn't seem like I'll have any issues with the water coming out of it. this is also a good way for my son to burn off some of the massive amounts of energy he has.

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)Let me make you laugh... while I know this water-filled punching bag is for kids to work out and blow off steam, I found I can use it too!This water filled bag is durable and sturdy, just right for kids to work on their boxing and martial arts. Even Mom can get her workouts in too, and this 88 pounder bag helps us work on our arm strength, martial arts kicks and is a great stress buster too. Water filled makes the bag a better object in terms of cardio movement, not to say, easy on the hands (and feet) in terms of punching/kicking.The accessories are terrific as well, with different options to hang the punching bag. The hanging strap is well made, and the provided carabiner has a bit of heft, made of a nice and heavy steel, I think. There's a twist 'lock' on carabiner to insure the bag stays hanging, despite energetic kicks and punches.Just so you know, I filled the air portion of this bag using my rechargeable paddle board pump. Need I tell you this portable bag is great for traveling if you have places to hang the bag after filling it on location? Happy family, peace of mind, stress buster and all that! ;o)Lastly, the cost is $29.99 at the time of this review. For what you get, this is a great price for a well made punching bag!What's not to love? ;o)I do have one small comment (or two) to make, and this doesn't affect my 5 star rating. Two of the seams are showing a white area on the black surface. I don't know if the seal is affected or these seams will pop open at a later date. Right now the bag is holding up well, without any loss of air nor water. Only time will tell if these areas could be possible stress points. Perhaps the seller could reach out to me and let me know what's best.As I own various aqua bags, each of them have markings for the amount of water weight as you fill them to ranging from 5 kg on up. (After all, you do want to know how much each of these bags weigh for your workouts.) This punching bag doesn't have those measures, but my hubby pointed out he would like to know exactly what 88 lbs of water could be, and the instructions doesn't illustrate that. You have to do an awkward filling the water bladder, then hop onto a scale to figure out the weight, or simply filling the bag with water to the valve itself enough? Surely, there must be a way to determine the weight of the water more easily, I wonder? I say this kindly. The bag looks very solid. It is build with a thick plastic looking material with a good looking squares pattern, soft to the texture and very homogeneous.Punching this bag does not feel like punching a sand bag. The punches don't sink as they do on a sand bag. They bounce, so you need to practice and adjust the amount of air filling up the bag after pouring the water to reduce some the amount of bouncing.We've got this punching bag to strengthen wrists and feet for our small kids that are practicing martial arts.A construction or design problem with this bag is the joint that runs vertical along the bag. When hit, it huts the skin. The kids did not like this. It could have been built differently to have the ling seam inside, instead of outside, to make it better.

I’m pleasantly surprised with how nice this punching bag, it far exceeds what I was expecting. It is easy to fill with water, ours is filled almost half way with water, lots of salt to keep it from freezing and the rest air. It has held up very well with 3 kids between 8-13 punching, kicking and even tackling it daily. The 13 year old is training for mma which is who I originally got this for before buying an adult bag, he likes to punch it with just his hands taped up but he also likes to take his boxing gloves to it. Needless to say it’s been beat every way possible and it’s still standing tall. I thought it’d surely be split by now especially since it’s a kids bag but there’s no damage and the seams are all still well intact. It was easy to install on a hook we already had a hammock chair hanging on but really that’s all you need is somewhere to put a hook and you’re good to go. It’s been lots of fun for my kids and is keeping them active and building up skills.

Our little guy is FULL of energy, and we grabbed this punching bag to provide him an outlet for his moments of sporadic frustration. So far, this has been a very clear winner!The bag itself is really well made. The material is something of a thick, checkered rip-stop vinyl, and has taken a rather intense beating (quite literally) in its first month of use with zero signs of wear or tear. The large valve on top makes filling it quite easy, and - whereas I used my own electric air pump - the included manual air pump is a nice feature. Furthermore, the valve's large diameter will make filling it with a bit of water quite simple (when we get to that point). AND, that large valve will also surely aid in drying it out when it comes time to empty it. I'll also mention that we haven't noticed any air leaks at all, which is awesome.The bag has two straps incorporated along the sides that attach to the included carabiner and strap. This makes it ready-to-hang straight out of the box. In our case, I chose to mount a sturdy hook into a joist on the ceiling of the play room to which the bag attaches and detaches easily...good to go.Honestly...the bag is made quite well, the valve is sturdy and air-tight, the included hardware is great...all in all, this is a GREAT find that looks up to its task for many years to come. For the price, this is an absolute winner. I'm truly impressed!
