I ordered this hat for my 5 year old, who has a 19 in head circumference. It fits her perfectly with room to grow, but she has a smaller than average head. I would say this would fit most 2-5 year olds. They do call it a toddler hat but proceed to list an age range of 4-10 years. It is definitely small like a normal toddler size. I am impressed with how thick and warm the hat is. My daughter certainly doesn't feel the wind blow through it, and she says the stretchy softness is so comfy. The neck warmer goes on easily and is nice if you are going to be outside for longer periods of time. The design is very cute, and the hat seems to be made well. The only quality issue I have noticed is that the fibers from the ball on top shed quite a bit, even after pulling the loose ones out. The hat is still nice, though, and my daugter loves it.

Excellent material. It is soft and plush. I like how it came in a box making it giftable. Will no doubt keep the kids warm. My 3 year old loves it!
