El producto llegó muy rápido. Todavía no lo instalo porque el problema con el actuador del auto se corrigió, pero el botón lo probé y se siente muy bien. Si corresponde a la parte original.

On older Honda CRVs, the tailgate switch that activates the trunk latch is prone to failure, especially in areas where road salt corrosion is a factor. The original switch is designed to facilitate simple, quick assembly in the factory ~ BUT that makes the switch difficult to access when replacment is necessary. This KIMISS release switch is easy to install (once access is achieved), well made, and sells for less than a third the cost of an OEM replacement part. I suggest steps be taken to isolate the switch and the very fine wires from salt corrosion (we used a sealant applied as a bead across the top of the lower outside trim panel. ~ The Duffian

The install itself is sort of annoying since you have to take apart the inner and outer panels to get to it, but compared to having the OEM piece that would rarely work since owning my CRV, its been such a nice change. Was quoted $500-$800 from different Hondas to service my vehicle so saving about 95% and doing it myself was real nice. It's been a little over a month and it works everytime I've needed it to.

If you pull the switch off the plastic part and do a little soldering, this will fit a 2016 Honda Odyssey for much lower than the cost from the dealer since you are not replacing the backup camera. Not sure if it will fix Honda service bulletin 16-063 hence the 4 out of 5 stars.

The original switch stopped working after 4 years. At the time I replaced it with an OEM unit. It stopped working after another 4 years, which is far below my expectations. So I am trying an aftermarket product now. I can't comment on longevity yet but everything else is just fine for a fraction of the OEM product cost.

The original Honda Factory part had a problem with failing to close the circuit to open the rear hatch when outside temperatures were below 40 degrees F. This new part works in cold temperatures. It actuates the door latch with a clear and pronounced click when pressed. I wish I had found this part three years ago.
