Kincade is not known for good leather. I had one previously and it lasted 5-6 years before it bit the dust. Even with regular cleaning and oil the leather just doesn't get supple or hold up. That said this isn't a piece of equipment I use daily and would rather pay $36 for a new one every couple of years instead of spending $150-200 on a nicer one.

I really like the ease of putting it on and removing it from my horse. I like the various adjustments it has for setting the head of the horse. ( I put a scissor clip where it attaches to the girth.
