This shock is definitely worth the price when you consider others being three times the cost. It has two adjustments you can make by changing the air pressure in the positive and negative Chambers, provided you have the right kind of air pump, it's quite easy. I'm not an aggressive Rider, and what I like about its performance is that it quieted the rear end down compared to the spring in the can OEM unit.

I got rid of the rear spring on my 20" fat tire E bike and installed this one. I set the air pressure at 120 in the top chamber and 100 in the lower. HUGE difference from the overly stiff stock unit. This really makes the rear suspension work. Night and day difference. Highly recommended.

150 mm is not a common size for mtb rear shocks so the options are limited. While not as well known as other major brands in the industry, this Kindshock brand fit my needs and was a major improvement over the HLT-100 coil spring shock that came with my Engwe Engine Pro ebike (the upgraded US version of the bike as of June 2022).The lower shock mount fit fine using my bike's existing hardware. For the top shock mount, I bought two stainless spacers (you could probably also cut the spacers off the old shock to size). While the shock seems to function fine without the spacers, I wanted to add rigidity and minimize flex. I purchased stainless spacers from McMaster Carr (I.D. M8 x 25 mm length). The actual length needed was 21 mm for each side of the shock, so I had to grind each spacer down on a belt sander. There's also a 20 mm length spacer that can be purchased -- just use stainless M8 washers to make up the small difference. The O.D. on the spacers is 16 mm, so quite beefy. The shock's manual doesn't have a psi table so you'll have to do some test runs using the shock's O-ring as a guide. This was a quick and painless install that's a no-brainer if you're looking to upgrade a vanilla coil spring shock.

The first shock they sent me was the wrong size so I sent it back and they took almost 2 weeks to replace it. Received the correct one and installed it and aired it up. It works pretty good so far. A big upgrade to the spring I had. The only issue is the Negative Pressure valve is on top so every time I want to check it I have to remove one of the bolts to gain enough access to it.

I was looking for a 150x30mm to replace the fake air shock that comes on the Wallke X3 Pro eMTB, which comes with a soft coil shock mounted inside of an air shock body, and with no adjustability. When I would sit on the bike, the entire frame would sag a lot, dropping the saddle almost 5-6 inches.I came across the KS A5-RR1 and decided to give it a try since it was the same size, and had both a main and negative air chamber. It was a direct fit replacement on the Wallke X3 frame, and after pumping up the shock to my body weight specification, the bike had maybe 1-2 inches of sag which is completely normal. The overall feel of the bike was much better and riding it felt more confident since it stiffened up the chassis. This was the one of the best upgrades I did on my eMTB as it greatly improved the ride & performance.I did have to get some M8x18mm spacers just to fill the gap between the upper shock eye-lit and the frame, but even without the spacers when I first put on the shock there was no movement and you could still ride it just fine. For piece of mind, I found some Rockshox M8x18mm black aluminum spacers that fit perfectly in there so I used those for a more finished look on the bike. Otherwise, the A5-RR1 shock is a perfect direct replacement on the Wallke X3 Pro eMTB.

Just received this shock and have to play around with the MP and NP pressure as it didn't come with a chart with weight to pressure recommendations. I weigh 165 and have the MP set to 100 and NP to 60 on a 2006 Giant Anthem and it feels fine. Reminder: This shock is rated as LIGHT XC use.
