I recently purchased this Kinect adapter so my daughter could play Just Dance on our Xbox One, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Since Xbox no longer supports Kinect natively, this adapter is the only way to keep using Kinect-based games—and thankfully, it works flawlessly!Setup was a breeze, even for someone who isn’t very tech-savvy. It was quick to assemble, and everything connected smoothly without any issues. As soon as we plugged it in, the Kinect was recognized right away, and we were able to start playing Just Dance immediately. I was worried that I would have to pay a small fortune for the adapter, but it's priced perfectly on Amazon. If you own a Kinect and want to continue using it with your Xbox One, this adapter is an absolute must-have. It’s fully functional, and I had no trouble getting it to work. Highly recommend it for anyone who still enjoys Kinect games!

i used this with my xbox kinect one for about nine months. it served me perfectly, without a single issue past the setup stage. quality of the camera was perfect for what i needed. the tracking of my body was also stellar.unfortunately i've no need for it anymore. but i'll have this reliable piece of tech for if i ever do again.

Purchased this for an XBox 1s. Ended up having to go out of town for an emergency and couldn't connect it right away. Then I was out of town on my kid's field trip and finally got a chance to hook it up. Tried multiple times over a week, but nothing happened at all... it's like it just didn't work, defective or dead. Never even a hint of it working. Went to return it, and I missed the return window by a day. Had to eat the cost of it (at least it wasn't expensive) but it's junk.

Funcionó con el xbox one s pero la compatibilidad de los juegos no me permitió jugar, sugiero que revisen antes en la lista de xbox o si no comprar mejor el xbox 360

The Adapter works as it should and I'm happy with it. I wouldn't have needed it but...I'm a big fan of the Kinect, so when my Xbox 360 needed work, I decided, impulsively, to upgrade to a used Xbox One X to take advantage of the backwards compatibility of many games. As it turns out, the old Kinect and and Guitar Hero and racing games were not compatible with the new console, and the Kinect unit I bought for the new console needed this adapter since Microsoft discontinued the Kinect for the One S and One X. Kinect games are still available in the xbox store, but I will have to repair my 360 to play the old games.Sure wish the Kinect was more popular and people gave it chance. It's a good way to get physical activity in while gaming and much cheaper than a VR headset!

Si sabes como emplearlo y con los programas adecuados puedes darle una segunda vida al kinect en la PC. Un buen producto para una buena idea.

Worked perfectly to adapt my Kinect for Xbox One to work directly connected to my PC. It provides power to the Kinect as well as adapts the XBox connector to USB. Very important that you connect it to USB 3.0 (blue tab in the USB port) as it probably won't work otherwise. My PC has both USB 2.0 and 3.0 and it didn't work until I figured out the blue tabbed port means USB 3.0.One very nice thing this vendor did is they put a well detailed description and diagrams for how to connect physically and where to find the Microsoft software to validate the connection. If the connection works but you still have problems with your software seeing the Kinect you may need a manual driver download. I found the link buried in a Microsoft Kinect support post from long ago. Driver date is 5/16/2019. Version is 2.2.1905.16000.

We've had a kinect for a few years now and never really used it. It got thrown in a drawer and just sat there. I was looking for games for my 6yo daughter to play and figured Just Dance would be perfect for her. So I went to hook up the Kinect to my Xbox One S and found out there was nowhere to plug it in. So I hopped online and started looking for and adapter. I came across this one for $20, cheaper than all of the rest I had found, and ordered it. The adapter came and it was really just as simple as hooking everything up, plugging it in and going into the settings to turn the mic and camera on. The only thing I would say to someone who gets it is make sure you plug it into the USB in the back of the Xbox that says 1 on it. I read that in one of the answers to a question on here and decided to just try the one labeled 2 to see if it would work, It didn't. So I just unplugged my external hard drive from the USB labeled 1, plugged it into the one labeled 2, plugged the Kinect into the USB labeled 1, restarted the Xbox and it worked like a charm. My daughter danced until she couldn't dance anymore today so that in itself was worth the $20 I spent on it.
