Pros: - Cost - Power cord in center makes it easy to use. - Works wellCons: - Always draws power, even when not plugged into camera or camera is OFF. - Fine for AC adaptor use, but not great must remember to disconnect from battery when not using.

It works when it’s plugged into a high powered brick or adapter. I tried just plugging it into my MacBook however it was not sufficient to power my camera A7S II until I used a higher watt usbc plug I had laying around. Ill be keeping it now I know what which power plug to use with it.

Used this with my ZVE-10 and a v-mount battery setup. I was able to use this for up to 10hrs of near constant filming without any overheating or poor connection. Would definitely buy again.

I filmed over 3 hours per day with my ZV-E10 during the rally using this dummy battery, and my Anker 20,000 mAh battery bank. The battery bank didn't even drain down 1 bar (out of 4). This event was super dusty, as well, and the dummy battery still works perfectly fine after it all. This camera draws less than 3 watts while filming. It is using a voltage boost circuit since the batteries are 2S, 7.4 volts, and this is only drawing 5 volts from type C, but it didn't overheat my camera and there's no external box in the cord with the boost circuit inside, so it's very nice and sleek! Perfect for a rig.

Shot a 5 hour video timelapse of the recent supermoon using the dummy battery plugged into a PD type c battery and my a7Sii. Zero issues. I recommend anyone with a camera that takes NP-FW50 batteries pick one up.
