Why do all houses in coastal Oregon use these? I'm not the biggest fan of the heating provided by these cadet wall heaters. We had one short out on us and needed to be replaced and this did the trick. Still, not a great heating solution but does the trick in a very temperate climate I suppose.

Effective but very noisy. Disappointed in the noise levels from the fan. Am using it to replace a baseboard heater on an office and it’s just too noisy. Am considering putting the baseboard back !

It was noisy and last only 2 years! Warranty was only one year. It is a don't buy. I replaced it with a Stelpro model . It is more expensive, but construction looks better and it is less noisy!

Great electric heater, does a great job warming a room. Noise is not too loud, but not quiet either; you definitely hear the fan when it’s on. But overall a good heater.

I purchased this to use in my heated portion of my garage. I installed this in the wall of that space. The dimmensions on this space is 12' x 24'. This heater works great! I keep this space at 60 degrees all year round. It also works well to boost the temp up quickly while working in this space. It doesn't take long at all to heat the entire room up. It also consumes little electric. I use it with this Honeywell Thermostat. I highly recommend both! I have the 220V version of this heater. It was fairly straight forward to install as well. See update belowThis heater was fairly easy to install and worked perfectly for about two months then stopped working. The heating unit does not heat up and the blower does not work. Would not recommend**update** I contacted the company and they walked me through a few diagnostic steps over the phone and determined it was a bad limit. They offered to send me either the replacement piece or a whole new heater. I opted for the new heater, they apologized for the inconvenience and had a brand new heater in the mail within two days. New heater seems to be working perfectly and the customer service of King electric was in my opinion very impressive. Hopefully I did just get a fluke and this one will last, because it does great.

This unit is very affordable and many people said it was fairly quiet. Unfortunately, that is not my experience. I got this for a 1 yr olds room, to keep it out of reach, because I often use a little electric heaters in the bedrooms for the few weeks per year that it drops below 60 in my area. First off, upon unboxing I realized that one of the fan blades was hitting the case. No problem, I just bent it slightly so that it no longer made contact. Next issue is that it's a little unsightly and the inner unit is off center in the case. The spacing between the grills doesn't do much to hide the contents. But then again, I did mount it above eye level. Last and biggest issue is that it is really loud! Much louder than any of the portable space heaters I've used. It's cheap, but I would have gladly paid twice the price for something quiet.

revised comments----very compact and a bit noisy because of the fan. Heats area faster than convection air type heaters. takes lots less space than the standard convection type baseboard heater. Used it in the garage and it works fine. Had it for almost two years with no issues. the description hints at an internal thermostat but it came without one. I used my old mechanical wall thermostat that was already there. Recently converted to electronic thermostat. Make sure that the electronic thermostat has a "fan option" and set it before you connect to heater.
