These tools are light weight but sturdy. The tongs make moving a log easy work. The over all assembly was super easy with only 7 screws. Just be sure to put the cap on the brush first and then screw in the handle into both of them at the same time. It will take some time to determine the durability of the shovel. It isn't 1 solid piece but the handle is pre-attached to the shovel head with rivets. The simple clean lines make this a design that should work with any decor.

"wrought iron", at least for me, brings to mind a piece that is solid in construction. Unfortunately, this set is not what I thought it would be. The stand is hollow, unlike the wrought iron fireplace stand that used to sit in the living room at my friend's house. On the plus side, this makes it light and easier to reposition and move around, but this just isn't what I thought it was when purchased. It is certainly a functional set, I'm just unsure the value is where it needs to be.

The Kingson 5 Pieces Fireplace Tools Set has what appears to be a powder coated aluminum frame and cast iron tools. All tool pieces are heavy duty with long handles. The poker and tongs have proven to be incredibly useful. The hooked spike on the poker makes quick work of rolling logs within the fireplace. The tongs open wide requiring two hands to operate but pick up even large logs for easy relocation with the fire. The broom is not overly impressive as I feel it needs several more bristles to get the job done without needing several passes. The shovel has a large surface area but has proven to be too flat and shallow too pick up much ash in one scoop. I find it taking twice as many scoops to remove the same amount of ash that my smaller bucket styled shovel was able to remove. I appreciate the long handles on each tool keeping my flesh distanced from the heat.Overall, it’s a nice set that gets the job done. The stand is stable and the tools are sturdy.

The packaging was great, everything was individually bubble wrapped and arrived in good shape. I did not get what was pictured (silver frame with black tools), mine was all black. However, that makes me like it more because I prefer it all be black! Note to the seller, please update photo or add different color options as a selection for people so they do not see the color being “off” as a negative. The set seems to be very sturdy and well made. We have not used it for a fire yet. But will update the post when we do. No tools were needed for assembly, it seriously took only a minute or two. I would recommend this product.

I ordered the KINGSON 5-PIECE FIREPLACE TOOL SET WITH HOLDER and it is a nice set, except for a couple of things: 1) I ordered it on December 5th and did not receive it until January 28th, and 2) The sales illustration showed the holder as burnished stainless steel however it arrived as painted black. Otherwise, it was well-packaged and easy to assemble. The 4 fireplace tools (shovel, brush, tongs, and poker) and holder are a basic design (compared to other sets at this price point), but that is what I wanted. And they are a sturdy set, which was a more important factor for me. This will meet my needs for a fireplace tool set.

Ok, so I ordered this fireplace set on December 5th and received it on January 27th. It took just shy of 2 months to get. Upon opening the box it didn’t really match what they show in the picture. I mean it’s the same but it’s not that nice brushed steel look I thought I was getting (pictured). I went back and made sure I wasn’t imagining it and sure enough they still only have one picture and its steel colored frame. To me if you are only going to use one picture for your product I’d be making extra sure it’s what is going to the customer. Moving on, It was very easy to assemble. It’s 4 screws to hold the feet on and a couple pegs with some allthread to hold the tools. Takes a couple minutes and no instructions really necessary. After putting it together I saw that the feet were not straight (pictured) so I just bent them straight by hand. The extra durable powder coating advertised had multiple scratches on the feet and a little on the frame (pictured). Lastly they make this wrought iron tool set sound and look extra tough and durable with the description and photo but it’s really just a basic sheet metal frame and I bent the feet by hand. The tools are fine but nothing special either. Overall it’s not what I expected at all. I was expecting it to be nicer and it’s just not. It will work, so if you love the design then go for it. I just wanted something more heavy duty and it lacks that in a lot of ways. There’s a lot of options in this price range and next time I’d be picking something else.
