I had to do some shaving using my drimmel but they worked really well and are very sturdy. Two stars off for the shoddy screws. That snapped going into the wood.

This is a decent quality spanner, but you will have to figure out how to use it since it comes with zero instructions. Since I had no wood or anything else under the cast iron flange, I could not put the spanner under the broken flange. I thought about putting on top of the flange, but there was no way to attach it to anything. I had to improvise using every tool I have in my arsenal.

I remodeled our half bath and installed a new toilet, when I removed the old one I discovered that the PVC flange was damaged on one side and I wasn't sure how to repair it without a complete removal and I didn't want to do that. I found these on Amazon and they had great reviews so I gave them a try and they worked out perfectly. Only one side of the PVC flange was damaged but I added these Spanner Flanges to both sides. hopefully these will last the life of the toilet.

These are at least 3-4 times thicker than the typical flange repair rings out there. Highly recommended!!
