The part was not the same, make sure to line the old part with the new part, including the grooves on the roller. One platen roller on Amazon has the exact grooves, but it will take a month to receive it from someone and it not coming from Amazon warehouse.

The other review saying this product doesn't fit is correct. These are too large for the ZT410 printers. I suspect this is the platen roller for the ZM400.

The end of the platen roller to the left that drives the roller is supposed to be square-shaped. The ones that I had received have a little extra brass sticking out making them unusable. I purchase a lot of these and I can't use any of them:(If you look at the photo, the dirty roller is what the roller is supposed to look like. The clean one is what I had received. You can see the difference between the two if you look at the brass fittings to the right. There is an extra obstuction that is not on any of my ZT410 printer's platen rollers.
