I put these on my Weber Gen II. Looked great, easy to install. BUT moved the BBQ 6 feet and one of the tires twisted off the rim.

My old BBQ needed new wheels, these were the correct diameter and width. I needed to purchase different axel bolts and washers and nylock nuts to complete the job. We are rolling again!

These casters for the front of my Weber Spirit grill seem well made, competitively priced and the locking mechanism seems secure. Additionally, these come with eight new screws for attachment. (The ones for the reare of the grill - different brand - - did not come with screws.) Now for the bad news: The old OEM casters that Weber supplied were nearly impossible to remove. The included screws were apparently not heat-treated to harden them. When you apply pressure to the Phillips recess to get them off, the recess easily distorts leaving you with not many options for removal. Once we got them off with a lot of sawing, hammering, prying, etc., the installation of the new casters was a breeze . . .

They might even be OEM and they don't have the metal sleeve like some customers say. A little disappointed because I think they'll wind up breaking like the original ones. Also, they don't come with clips to hold the wheel on the axle so I just used cotter pins. So far they do work so that's a good thing.

As stated in the title, they look and act like the original, with one huge difference. The replacement wheels has twice the amount of ‘ribs’ on the back of the wheel than the original. It appears to be much stronger! Especially considering the original wheel brok at the ribs on the back
