The height it about 1/8 inch taller than specified. I had to order new shorter spouts, to fit where I planned to place them.

I use these to further infuse hair oils in a Japanese head spa. Not only are they a great quality but perfect size and easy to pour.

Did you ever get tired of having big, slippery, ugly looking bottles on your kitchen counter top within reach of the stove? Take a look at these really classy looking bottles that have virtually no leaking, are a joy to use, and just plain look nice.The bottles are made from heavy glass, and because of this they have a slightly concave surface on each flat side that provides a good, non-slip grip while in use. The size of the bottle is a good fit for an adult hand, not too large to be difficult to handle or too small. The pour spouts are well made, have a self closing cover on top to keep out the dust and little creatures, and a tapered rubber-like seal at the bottom which fits the bottle opening perfectly. The seal on the spout fits easily into the bottle yet due to its shape makes a liquid tight connection that will not come loose in use. The glass is clear so that you have an unobstructed view of the contents. The pour rate is somewhat slow, which allows you to put the oil or other liquid exactly where you want it; if you need a large quantity of oil, olive oil for a recipe for example, then you probably should reach for the large bottle that you use to refill these counter containers.In addition to the bottles and pour spouts, the package contains a large number of pre-printed labels that cover just about any conceivable liquid that you might want to put in a bottle. The labels are nicely done in a pleasant, easy to read font. Since the labels are placed on the flat surface of the bottle and not the edge, you will not be able to read them all if you set the bottles together on a counter, flat sides touching. But in my case we can usually identify the correct bottle just by the color and viscosity of its contents; the labels just serve as confirmation that the right bottle was selected.For filling bottles, the cutest and most functional funnel I've ever seen is included. The funnel is made of a soft rubbery material, and it collapses to almost flat for storage and easily expands into the full funnel shape that exactly fits the bottle's openings. A very clever item.Sometimes after pouring oils especially, a little liquid will escape from the cover before it closes and slide down the spout. There is not really anything to prevent this from making its way to the glass and then down the side. So even though it is a small amount, I try to always use a bit of paper towel to wipe this off the spout; this is to prevent the bottle from getting slippery and hard to hold safely.If one of these bottles is not close to other bottles, then giving the top of the bottle or the spout a little nudge to the side can cause the entire bottle to tip over and spill some contents, or even break if it lands on a hard counter top. If several of these bottle are lined up side by side, this will largely prevent this kind of tipping accident. The bottles can be knocked over fairly easily even when full of liquids.For storage, when not in use, I would suggest that you retain the original shipping material since there is a well padded slot in a foam block for each bottle, and a larger central slot to store spouts.

I have to say when I was looking at this and got it. I was seeing some of the labels, but did not realize that this came with so many different labels. You have things from peanut oil to fish sauce to sesame oil, etc. I just had assumed I would have to print off my own labels because I have waterproof laser labels that I use for other things and I just assume that's that's what I would do. However, this comes with so many different labels that it's incredible.As far as the function of them goes, they work really well. I think they look really nice on the countertop and because they're short, they're actually small enough that you could put them in a cabinet and line them up like books on a bookshelf. You can still see what it is, but because they're short and squatty, they fit under the cabinet inside the cabinet doors. So it gives you a lot of flexibility on how to do it. I've attached a picture and you'll see one of the labels bubbled up because I accidentally left it near a pan lol so that's my bad. But I do love the way they're labeled, etc.Now typically oil bottles and stuff like that come in like 16 ounces and larger. Because most packages for oil or 16 ounces or so. I did not measure exactly how much these hold but I got a 16.9 ounce bottle of olive oil and a little less than a quarter of the bottle would not fit in here so I'd say these are probably 12 ounces?Now my only complaint is the dispenser on these bottles so they'll start out a little slow and then all of a sudden I guess some air gets in there somehow and then it starts flowing out super fast. So you do need to be a little mindful I might end up getting different pour tops for these.
