I love this brand! Much of my other kitchen items are Kitchen Aid brand. Great pots and pans! This one missed the mark BIG-TIME!My other lids have rubber on them. Which is nice so when you're using the stovetop you don't get burned. BUT.... you can't put it in the oven then. I didn't buy this to be able to use as a Dutch oven and stovetop. Simply for stove. You Will Need a hot pad to pick lid up OR grabbing the handle. This is only kitchen aid cookware I have this issue on.Per normal kitchen aid.... Quality of pan is great, cooks the food exactly like I want it to.But for the lid and handle to get as hot as the pan.... No thanks!
