Product arrived missing "teflon stickers" used to ID center of burners. Minimal transparency means that some way to locate burners would be helpful...This is a sheet of fiberglass mesh (very fine) covered by black silicone. It sticks to glass top and is VERY difficult-to-impossible to move/slide a pot or pan on. Not ideal for active cooking, but serves the purpose of preventing scratches.Still looking for that something that is not so "sticky", sits on glass top, is translucent, heat tolerant, and prevents scratching...

The perfect protector for my induction glass cooktop! Easy to clean and gives me peace of mind in case I accidentally hit the glass top. Plus, I can cook with the silicone protector on.

I have used this on my induction stove for a week. Heat transfer is fine. The cover doesn't smoke or melt. They provide stickers so you can mark the center of your burners. You can't see the burner outline thru the material.But - don't use this on a radiant electric stove. Don't use it if your pan will get hotter than 450 degrees. For example - I heat a lodge steel pan to over 500 degrees to sear steak. I remove the cover when I do this.

We knew from other reviews that it would be difficult to see the controls through, and it is. We bought it anyway because we wanted to have a usable, heat tolerant matt to protect our (to us) rather expensive induction top investment. This one was big enough and had the functionality we desire in spite of its limited opacity. There are times that my unit's sensors don't like a certain pot in a specific spot, but the stovetop trained us well and it works fine. To the manufacturer, package it in a roll rather than folding it. The folds take a long time to work themselves out.

Item was thicker than expected with very little translucency. Had to cut out a section so that I could see the dials and had to use the decals to identify cooking positionsIt is also a little short for a 36" wide cooktop.On the plus side, it does hold it's position on the cooktop

This works ok and protects the top, but would not buy again as fiddly to clean, its sort of sticky and paper towel sticks and it seems to attract dust and other particles, also awkward to wash in sink as so big so tried cutting it into seperate pieces which makes it a bit easier. Some marks seem to have been burnt into it so does not look so good now

Do not buy the Black and white Raku induction mat as it’s not fit for purpose as you cannot see the induction markings nor the controls
