Kizer Original Button Lock Knife
- The Kizer Original pocket knife is a perfect EDC knife, it is portable, strong, sharp, and easy to maintain. It was made of 154CM steel blade and copper handle. Copper handle give it a fresh look. 154CM Steel
- 154CM is one of “better” steel varieties made for cutlery and other knife blades. It’s a commonly used steel for a higher grade knife. 154CM steel has an exceptionally good balance between toughness, hardness, and corrosion resistance.154CM is a very high carbon stainless steel with the addition of Molybdenum, which gives you a better edge retention.
Copper Handle
- Copper handle give the pocket knife a fresh look. Although the copper is heftier than other stainless steel ,In fact, the copper handle will be for more eye-appeal. Love this knife. I also have the aluminum version and it's one of my all time favorite edc knives, more beloved than some others I own that are ten times the cost. When I realized this model has been discontinued I purchased the copper version as well. This knife is just beautiful. The blade is solid with absolutely no play in any direction. It opens and closes super smoothly with a satisfying ping. The knife was kinda stiff and the lock button was a bit sticky at first but a bit of breaking in and then a tiny drop of Superlube fixed that completely. Probably gonna get one of the XL versions too before they are gone forever. This knife is an absolute bargain for the price and I have zero regrets about purchasing another one.

If it comes tight and sticky, don't give up on it. When I first got mine I thought I just didn't have the necessary hand strength or coordination for thumb studs. My other knife is a Praxis and it flips open with crazy adrenaline. I was going to return this knife (Kizer Original) because it was so stiff. Instead, I just kept using it and in a few days, it totally broke in. It is so snappy now and opens with an easy flick of the thumb!!! The blade is great for slicing cardboard. The Kizer Original looks elegant and its size is a little on the small size, which I love. Makes for a perfect EDC knife. I hardly know I am carrying it. So be patient if it comes in a little sticky. Mine broke in and I love it now. The button broke in after a day or two and works awesome now too.

I love this knife. It was my first Kizer and started an addiction. It's on the smaller side and relatively lightweight. Handle is super comfortable. Came super sharp out of the box. The lock is pretty smooth, but if you open it a little too hard the button can stick some. I wouldn't say is a hugely versatile knife, but great for most every day tasks. Definitely not a hard use knife. Even though the pictures dont look like it, it does come with the extras (pouch, lanyard bead, tag, and stickers).

Amazing quality! It has a super smooth action, and lockup is perfect with side-to-side or vertical play at all. Effortlessly flips open with a little flick of the wrist with the lock button pushed down, closes just as easy. Almost no detectible friction in the pivot at all.Lock-up is solid and the factory grind is very good, razor sharp.The Serape color scheme is absolutely beautiful! The milling of the G10 scales is super smooth and very soft to the touch.The case is just a good looking as the knife, and I really appreciate the extras that Kizer ships with these knives. A G10 lanyard barrel bead and dog tag that match the knife scales is a nice addition, and I always appreciate the extra screws, they've saved me a few times.Absolutely worth the price, you won't be disappointed.
