These were my first pair of Klim pants, and I also recently purchased another more expensive pair of Klim pants. Both are disappointing. I’ve worn these for a few hundred miles. The only feature that makes them motorcycle specific are the armor pockets, otherwise they’re just funny looking, heavy Carhartt pants.Pros: The Ghost armor is very thin and comfortable.Cons: I don’t think they’d hold up particularly well in a slide. There are many areas with single row stitching. The knee pad area of the pants are very loose with no adjustment, so the pads will never stay where you would need them to be in a crash. Overall the pants are way too baggy everywhere. The Ghost armor is comfortable because it’s so thin it would probably be useless in a crash. There are no vents. The pants have zero stretch panels, which is my biggest issue with them. If you’re riding a bike with a wide seat or a tall bike like an adventure bike the lack of stretch in the inseam/crotch area makes it very difficult to fully stretch your legs to reach the ground. Basically the pants don’t allow you to spread your legs wide when you’re on a bike seat, they bind. I went up one waist size to give myself more lateral stretchability, but it only helped a little. No waist adjusters, you’ll need to wear a belt.Maybe the 800 dollar Klim gear is better made, but I’m not going to take that chance. My recommendation, buy Rev’It. I also own 2 of their pants in this same price range and they’re more comfortable and made better. Like they were actually tested by someone sitting on a motorcycle.

KLIM runs big for me, I’m a 33 or 34 waist and 32 fits perfect. I don’t wear these on longer rides I have Marrakesh for that. For local riding these beat regular Levi jeans but this is not a high speed pant. I think they are great really comfortable when I don’t want to walk around in motorcycle pants.

There are a great value. Feel protected with the knee and hip protection. I'm 5'6", and the knee pro stays in the right spot. They are on the heavier side though, so there may be better options for the summer.

I don’t have anything bad to say about these pants. Well made. Great fit, even for me a bigger guy. Just enough stretch. Perhaps a zipping back pocket should be added. But that’s really it.
