Great product and fits perfectly. My MacBook kept running hot after the most recent update and it doesn't help I use it mainly on top of my sheets. This is already helping my MacBook to run cooler than ever. The price point is very affordable and the design makes it so that the pad practically sticks to the bottom of the laptop. Highly recommend and will update in 3 months, but 5 stars for now. Does what's advertised.Note: I have a 2019 MacBook Pro.

So good 🥲

It’s definitely not silent or even “the sound of rustling leaves” as commonly stated in the supplied clipart from the OEM. It moves some air but not much. I have an absurd cooling setup of a giant heatsink thermal taped to the bottom of macbook pro that sits on this thing and it barely moves enough air to dissipate the heat coming off it. Because it does move some air rather than no air, it is effective enough that i’m not buying something better, but it’s about as loud as the macbook fans running at 3500-4000 rpm and it’s audible background noise to an external mic, and way too much noise for the internal mic in the laptop.Due to these barely usable results, my rating is 3 stars. Definitely don’t buy this if you have serious heat or noise issues you’re trying to solve.

UPDATED 8.4.21 TO ADD: One fan has stopped working, less than four months after purchase. The unit no longer gets moved, it stays on my desk at all times now due to sharp edges, so it's not like it's been abused or dropped. It's probably been turned on less than twenty times. Poor quality.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Pretty blue color and cool looking when lit up. I'm not here for aesthetics, though.Overall it seems to work well, as far as the cooling aspect goes. My main problem with it is the sharp metal edges. They snag on my expensive comforter all the time and are ruining it.The multiple pokey pieces on my unit are definitely sharp enough to cut someone. I'm not sure if it's poor design or lack of quality control. Either way it is a total bummer.Buyer beware. The only way I'd use this is on a stationary solid surface I didn't care about.

If I have to compare this to my previous laptop cooling pads, I must say that this one is far better. Though there may be better than this but of course, the price would be higher. But with this, the price is very reasonable. The product is indeed sturdy and very effective. One of the reasons why I like this compared to other brands is that it has a switch at the back if you want it ON/OFF. Another thing is that it is very silent. And the surface is sturdy, it doesn't press the fan due to the weight of the laptop. And you have two options to set the height of the pad as well. The only thing I do not like with this one is that the USB plug doesn't have a USB slot behind it. So it means that you will have to plug your flash drive or your mouse receiver into other USB slots. But in general, I highly recommend this one. You do not have to buy a pricey one just to make your laptop kept cool. Thanks to KLIM

I tried 3 "better" coolers, changed this from 3 star to 4. With a better grasp of what a cooling pad can do, I like this one a bitIf you want something rugged, long lasting, or powerful enough to lower your laptop temps while gaming/video editing, this is not it.This cooling pad shines if you want something cheap easy to carry, unobtrusive, that will allow air to circulate. This is the lightest cooling pad I've tried. It's also the thinnest and quietest. This model has small tabs in the back you can flip to create and angle (like on a standard pc keyboard). The surface coating has enough friction to keep it from sliding. The USB cable is not permanently attached and it has an on/off switch (both things are rare at this price point)What I specially love is that the bottom edge are only slightly angled out, most cooling pads are designed to be a thin lipped tray on a block containing fans, since these don't have a lip, you can slide it into a slip top sleeve and worry about the edges breaking off, it also means it has a wider base, more comfortable if you do use it on your lap, chest, stomach...The fans are weak even by cheap cooling pad standards but it is (just barely) to keep your lap from feeling hot (if you use it on you lap).Cons:The 4 fans combined blow at around 30 cfm (lower than most cooling pads). It's Thin and light because the plastic and metal used is just thick enough to support the laptops weight. It will dent or shatter if dropped from above waist height. The surface is not the typical metal mesh, but rather a thin sheet if very small holes in it ostensibly because metal this thin wouldn't have structural integrity as a mesh. The smallness of the holes slow the airflow even more. And obviously this is a cheap cooling pad, the fans start vibrating or fail sooner than later.
