It's a bike chain that fits 7 speed. Works, can't say for durability.

I needed a replacement chain for my vintage 15 speed bicycle and this not only is a great quality chain it is a great value! Amazing you can get this much quality for this low of a price. The best thing about KMC chains is the incredibly easy to use master quick link that allows you to break the chain and rejoin it without tools especially helpful in the field and just makes life easier in the shop.Pros:• Great tool-free master link makes chain maintenance easier• High quality machining• Smooth shifting performance when paired with a quality derailleur• Standard flat side links without index shift "bulges" to keep your vintage bike looking vintage• Low price plus great quality chain equals spectacular valueCons:None that I could find. This is my go-to chain for my vintage bicycles. KMC: Don't stop making this!

Great replacement for a worn chain. A chain breaker is needed to “cut” the chain to the right length. Using this chain on a 2007 Dahon Mariner. Haven’t had problems with KMC chains.

Chain has held up well; seems resilient thus far, and of good quality.Tip for beginners: your chain will likely NOT have a removable link, intended for quick and easy removal. If this is the case then you will need a special chain-removal tool to get the old chain off (it literally pushes one of the pins out of any link in the chain). If the old chain DOES have a quick-link then you can remove it easily with a different tool (it resembles a pair of tiny pliers). Additionally, if the length of the new chain isn’t a close enough match then you will likely need the pin-removing chain tool to either add additional links or remove some (the same tool is used to both add and remove links).Amazon sells an inexpensive kit which contains both these tools plus extra chain links; this worked well for us.

I was restoring a Specialized Hotrock 24 7 speed, and the old rusty chain wasn't worth cleaning. So, I did some research and found out that this was the same chain the bicycle came with originally. The chain comes well packaged in a small plastic case with instructions, a missing link to assemble it and worked perfectly on the bicycle.Four things to consider when making this purchase... If you haven't replaced a chain before, you may want to watch a Park Tool video (or other video) regarding chain replacement and sizing. Do not remove and throw away your old chain before receiving your new chain. You will need to use the old chain to size your new chain. In my case, I had to remove 16 links from this chain to match the original chain length. If you don't already have one, you will need a chain rivet tool to remove links so that you can properly size the new chain. You will not need a missing link tool to assemble your chain. The chain is clean, pre-lubricated and the missing link assembles easily by hand. But, you may want the tool to remove and service the chain in the future, or you can use the rivet remover.
