I use this on a 7 speed system - TA Cyclotouriste crank, Shimano and Sunrace freewheels. I don't understand why, but this chain shifts more smoothly than SRAM 8-speed chain. Still using it without measurable wear after 1000 miles.

Replaced a chain on GT aggressor. Had to shorten a few links as this chain was a little longer than the OEM.

First time changing a chain, this was affordable and I replaced the Z7, was super simple and what a difference.

It was easy to install using the chain tool I bought simultaneously. Looks sturdy and has a good price. Rode about 50 miles since.

I installed this chain on an e-bike (Ebike) configured with a 7-speed free wheel and 42 tooth front chain ring. The KMC chain is strong is very durable so far and have over 400 miles on it. For an e-bike I expect it will last a thousand or 1500 miles then will need to replace it, but this is a very good price for the performance.

Fit my 7 speed setup. Good quality chain, long enough, and included a quick link. It's a chain....

F.Y.I. before you replace....Take a Picture Before you Replace, that is if your chain didn't fall off or broke off. This is so you know how it goes back together assuming you bike was together right. If Not Google that info. If you are replacing the chain you had on before make sure you lay them both out the New with the Old, side by side, and with your Chain Breaker Tool pop out the extra links you don't need to get the Same Length of chain. I had to remove several Links to match original length of chain I had on before. Also Both Ends of the chain must be "Inner Links" so the Master Link can connect the chain. Don't be afraid to Google "Bike Chain Diagram" or "How to Replace Your Bike Chain". Even Consult #YoutubeUniversity
