This K&N cold air intake system is engineered for your vehicle. A mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube helps increase the volume of airflow to your engine and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque with no tune required. This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom designed open heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes. Not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicle.

i have had K & N products on almost every vehicle i have ever owned. they have a solid reputation and awesome performance to back it up. I got this intake for a 2013 gmc 2500 with a 6.0 gas engine and installation was a breeze, the only negative thing i have to say is that the 3/8 x 12 crankcase vent tube wasn't in the box so i had to go to my local parts store and get a piece to complete the install. other than that i love the product and the way it looks and performs.

I have had this product installed for about 3 months. I have noticed a slight increase in MPG, maybe 1-2, a noticeable increase in power, but the best this is it will make your truck sound like an alligator looking for a mate.

The reason for the 4 star is because the top 3 bolts for the top cover do not line up, the rest was fine. Needed to drill the holes over size for better fitment.

Great improvement over stock, easy install, looks great under the hood. If you haven't bought one for your truck, do it now! Gas mileage has improved a little but biggest addition is the extra power. Everything is included you need to install, took about one hour. 2013 Chevy 2500 HD with 6.0 gas nice fit.

Installed 3 months ago on my 2011 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 Vortec w/120,000 miles- Install took about 60 minutes. I prepped some of the pieces ahead of time indoors and that helped out. Install steps were easy to follow.- Noticeable horsepower gain on throttle response especially around the higher rpm levels immediately- I can't say if the sound increased since my truck already has exhaust that makes it loud, and I couldn't hear anything new after install.- Can't say that I get better gas mileage, but that's not why I bought it. Maybe I just floor it more often now which offsets any mpg gains I would have gotten.

It took longer to disconnect the OEM sensors than to install the K&N Filter. I installed this 77 series intake on my 2013 2500HD with a 6.0 Vortec. It was a perfect fit! The MPG monitor immediately started climbing within the first mile I tested the installation. The power is awesome and the sound is pretty mean when the throttle is opened.An awesome product that is already showing performance improvement within the first few miles installed. I recommend this to anyone looking for better fuel mileage and a performance increase.Thanks K&N!!!!!!!
