This is a very smart tool to have at home after a knee replacement. A must have.

I recently had a knee replacement and this Knee Glider has made my daily “Supine Heel Slides”, and “Seated Knee Bends” exercises, easier. These exercises are required per my physical therapist to increase my replacement knee’s flexion. The Knee Glider actually allows me to very slightly increase my knee’s flexion, as there is much less friction between my foot and the surface I am sliding it over. You could even use it with a shoe on. All my exercises using the Knee Glider are performed sitting down or laying down. I would never stand on this Knee Glider as that would be dangerous and a fall hazard, due to how frictionless the Knee Glider glides over a surface. The Knee Glider is comprised of a hard durable plastic sole, that fits the foot comfortably, with 4 steel roller balls placed equidistant on the bottom. Two soft, comfortable ropes are laced into either side of the plastic sole to allow pulling the placed foot into the desired position.

While this device is really simple, it is quite effective. It comes with instructions on use, is sturdy and large enough for bigger feet too. I have noticed more mobility in my bad knee since using it.

I just had a knee replacement and this glider makes one of the exercises / stretches that was recommended much easier than just trying to slide my foot across the floor in my socks. With this you don't even have to take your shoe off and also you can do the stretch on any floor surface. This works much better than the method using just a yoga strap!

Pretty simple but effective exercise for people with knee replacements. My wife is getting hers done soon and this will help. Strong sturdy, just wish it came with handles.

This Knee Glider for Knee Replacement can be used to help rehab your leg after knee or hip surgery. It glides along the floor in whatever direction. Do not stand on it as it might cause an accident. Be firmly seated before putting your foot on the device. It is big enough for large and wide feet. The glider is very compact, so it would be easy to take with you. This way you can continue your rehab while traveling. It also won't take up much room in your home.

I need to gently strengthen the muscles on side of my knee and increase the range of motion because I am walking bone on bone. Believe it not I can feel this exercise after doing this for several minutes because I do it slowly and carefully, holding on to the cord to regulate my speed. At my age, exercise is not a race. I do it on both knees, although the left knee hurts much more than the right. The wheels roll smoothly and the cord makes it easy for me to control my rolling speed which is essential to not having an injury. I need to do this among other exercises before and after knee surgery. This Knee Glider can also be used for the shoulder against a wall. I don't need it for this so I can't say whether or not it scratches the wall. The wheels are like ball bearings and well designed compared to others I've seen. I do it sitting in a chair but you can also exercise the knee lying down. Do NOT stand on it! (I feel like writing that is like telling people to take the plastic off a frozen pizza before putting it into a hot oven). It much larger than my size 9 foot to fit most any width and foot length. The cord wraps up easily and tucks in to put it away without it hanging down, which makes it easy to store.
