This is a clever idea. It's a bit clunky to walk with, but it's nice to have a place to sit when gardening. You're down on 1 knee for the kneel, and you sit on the rest area. The seat isn't large, and it wouldn't work for my mom who has bad knees, but if you're able to kneel and get back up yourself, it'll work for you. You aren't kneeling on the ground, and you get a seat too. It seems a bit short, but it does work, I just make sure it's over my knee when I'm tightening the strap.

I LOVE gardening, but I'm getting older and my body knows it. This makes it so much easier to get down and get my hands in the dirt, but maybe more importantly, it makes it easier to get back UP! lol My knees also aren't so great, so, to be able to cushion my knees is a game changer. I'm loving this!

The idea is great, but the straps won’t stay attached, them come off.

Manufacturer box was torn. Chair missing pieces and tons of metal shavings inside the package the package looks like it was open and returned and recent to me for full price broken.

I love novel solutions, and this is a good one. I originally got it for my wife, who loves gardening but often complains about her knees. Now, I’m considering keeping it for myself for tasks like weeding and other household chores. The unit arrives completely disassembled, but it’s fairly easy to put together. There are three size adjustments to fit different heights, ensuring the knee pad sits squarely on the knee. The only drawback is the strap system. The metal strap attachment sometimes comes off the frame, which is a pain to reattach. A more secure design would be a big improvement.Otherwise, this knee stool works great. Once attached to my lower leg, it stays in place without getting in the way, and sitting on the built-in stool is as simple as kneeling down.My wife refuses to wear it outside, saying it looks like a Forrest Gump leg brace. I, on the other hand, prefer physical comfort!

This gardening kneeler and seat has been a game-changer for yard work. The quick-release feature and adjustable height make it perfect for all sizes, and it’s really sturdy. It’s become my go-to tool for planting and weeding without hurting my knees! Highly recommend for gardening comfort.

I thought these were a great idea for my boyfriend who likes to work in the garden, but has hard time kneeling due to bad knees. Unfortunately they didn't really work. There was still too much of a bend for him. He's tall, but I think even for a shorter person, it still wouldn't really work. The seat is just too low. They should've made it an adjustable seat. Also the knee part is too closely situated to the ankle part, so the distance from the knee part to the ankle pad is too short. I'm 5'9" and it was too short. I can't see adults over 5' using this. These are child dimensions. The seat height was ok for me, but I can also easily squat with no problems, so I'm not the target user. Lastly, it's not comfortable resting on just one. You're bum is lopsided sitting on such a small area, and eventually you just kind of slide off. It takes more work to try to prop yourself up half-sitting on this than it's worth. You'd have to buy 2 devices for each leg if you want to rest comfortably. You're better off just using a stool.I almost forgot about the goofy user manual...or as they called it "Instraction" Manual, which is only partially useful and comprehendible. They provide only two steps for installation instructions. The first step shows how to connect one rod, the second step is for everything else!

I am an overweight old lady with a bad back and knobby knees. I recently fell in the yard and while I can get up on my own it is painful on the knees and easier if I have something to lean on while I get them under me. Luckily my sister was within yell distance and she brought me something to pad my knees and something to lean on to help me get up. I have actually considered getting strap on knee pads to wear when I'm working outside. When I saw this garden kneeler available as a free promotional I ordered it. So, out of the box it was pretty self explanatory and the "Instraction" book helped. I couldn't understand why two wrenches but then I realized you needed both to tighten the nuts. It would have been nice if the washers had been curved to fit the pole but not a big deal. Trying to tighten the knee pad with the "Adjuastable" strap was difficult. If you tighten too much the end of the strap pops off. Not enough and the strap end falls off. I guess you will need to leave the nuts loose enough that you can attach them and then tighten the strap with the hook and loop so it can't slip off of the nut. So after a bit of a struggle I was able to put the kneeler on my leg and try it out. Since I'm roly poly and recently injured my knee I positioned myself between two chairs so I could grab the arms to ease myself down and back up. Down was easy. Unfortunately the seat part is too low for me, I can't fold my leg tight enough to put my bony behind on the seat. I used the chairs to get back up. I think I'll turn the knee pad around and use the seat to lean on to push myself up. I will have my sister try it out and see if it works better for her and update my review with results. For myself I'll either get knee pads or one of those kneelers that has handles on the sides. Sucks getting old.
