I got that kit for my wife and the knife looked very good but after 3 fishes, I could not cut through the bones.. My old Rapala did the trick an did not even passed in on the knife sharpener. The other tools seems a bit flimsy.. It's opening day today so I'll come back after hitting a few walleye with the rest of the tools.. but not much hope at this time.

This has a very useful filet knife, a working fish lip gripper, a pair of scissors for cutting line, a deep hook removal tool, a pair of bent handled needle nose pliers and something I've never seen anywhere, ever. A strange, hollow stainless steel item that looks like an oval bar of soap. Yup, no idea what it is, or what it's used for. I'll probably feel dumb later, but, I'm clueless.
