Doesn't work properly. Remote won't connect. Spins in spurts, very jerky. Directions in Chinese, no English.

This is a great device for recording a 360 of items, or having something on display. I was excited to get this open and give it a try, and I hope this review helps you when you get started as well! When getting started, if you want to check it out, use the usb cord to plug in. then twist the knob to right until it starts moving. you can even move it all the way to the end to see the top speed. To reverse the direction, click the button next to the know, and it should move the other way.I originally thought that it needs to remain plugged in, in order to use, as I kept the usb plugged in for over a day and when unplugged it still didn't work. I took a moment to check, and instead it has batteries on the bottom that you can plug in, in order to use without cords. This isn't the end of the world, and I'm very thankful that this has the option to use without having to be plugged in, however given the day and age that we live in, it would be nice to have this be able to charge, instead of just being a pass though and needing to carry around extra batteries

I love that this product uses a standard 18650 cell, so I can run it for hours without needing to plug it in. I plan to use it at the local farmers market to display some wooden bowls I've turned. Operation is simple and intuitive, but the instructions are terrible. I don't care about the fancy RGB lights all the other brands put on these, I just like a simple, quiet rotating display. This works great for product videos and live displays. My only complaint is that it makes a small ticking noise once per revolution. It's not loud, and wouldn't even be noticeable if there was any background noise. I will probably buy another one to add to my setup.

Rotates very smoothly and absolutely quietly. Speed is easily adjustable with the knob and the switch to reverse direction is a nice feature. Will be using this with a camera to capture 3D scans. Also nice that it has so many power options. I have only used it with the USB power but I am sure that in the future I will use the AAA battery option. The 18650 battery option is a nice to have but I probably won't use it.

The turntable doesn't come with batteries but they are upfront with that in the listing and I love that they allow you to use a 18650 and recharge it through the usb-c port OR AAA batteries OR just use USB c to power it wired. I am a huge fan of stuff like this that just gives you the options to do whatever you see fit and I love the design. The turntable has a knob on the side that is easy to adjust the speed with, it can go extremelyyyyy slow if you want it to, but doesn't really go fast ever. The fastest setting is fast enough for anything on display though and if recording a video on a tripod or something you could speed the video up after the fact. It would be nice if given the option for a little more speed but I realize I never would need it. The button is to change the direction of the rotation and doesn't have anything to do with power. Instead the knob itself is what controls the power- along with the speed. The knob does have to be turned on in order for the remote to work but if you turn the knob just enough for the click to happen (which turns it on) it will be on without turning so that you can just use the remote to control if you'd like. At any speed the knob might set it on the remote can override as well. So even if you have the knob all the way up or down as long as it's on a little bit the remote will just override it and can change the speed or direction. It was able to spin a ain't 64oz hydro flask filled with water on it pretty easily on battery power so I'm impressed! The 18650 battery shown in the photo though was my own from a flashlight and if you want it to be rechargeable you'll have to get on separately.

I do a lot of product photography and this turntable has become an essential part of my setup. The flexibility of power options is great - you can use regular AA batteries, 18650 battery, or USB-C power which means you'll never be stuck without power during a shoot. The speed control knob gives precise adjustments and the remote adds convenience when you're behind the camera. Build quality is solid and the turntable runs smoothly and quietly. What really impressed me was the magnetic anti-slip surface that keeps items stable during rotation. Running at lower speeds gives perfectly smooth motion for video work. For the price point, this is a capable piece of kit that gets the job done without any fuss.
