I pull out my roll-in dock and shore station using my small car. I was looking for a tool like this that allows me to easily and quickly shorten the rope as I pull them up onto the sandy shoreline. I've done this same task by hand with 4 of us pushing them up onto the beach. The car method is a lot easier. This anchor hook claims to be able to handle 8000 lbs. The 3/8" rope used has a breaking strength of just over 4000 lbs so if anything was going to break it would be the rope first. But no, you can see the hook failed. Disappointing.
