The cheap pot metal they made this out out just shattered. I am not the strongest guy on earth this was clearly just a lousy tool.

They feel like they will tear up easy and seem to be made cheap but they do have a lifetime warranty and seem to get the job done. I wish the jaws had a wider opening and they seem to stick/release awkwardly at times but we will see in the long run as I have only had them a week or so and use them daily for quick tightening not so much torque. Overall pleased with the purchase.

Really wanted knipex but couldn’t justify the cost for non-commercial use. Little bulkier than the knipex but easily liveable for a fraction of the cost. Locking action is flawless and grip is phenomenal.

These locking pliers are a great design. They perform well especially in areas where using two hands are not possible.

My Craftsman locking pliers went missing. (Wife?). These new Cobalt pliers work just fine. Used the small ones just two days ago on a lamp repair assignment (wife). Next up on honey do list-- burned out walkway lights.
